In Defense of a Prophetic Voice Jonathan Cahn

People love pillow prophets. They hate true prophets. Pillow prophets tell people what they want to hear. They cry, “Peace and safety!” when danger is imminent. True prophets warn of danger and cry for repentance.

When Jeremiah told the people of Judah that it was God’s will for them to surrender to the Babylonians and go into captivity, he was demonized as a false prophet and a traitor, and the people tried to kill him.

In like manner, Jonathan Cahn has been the victim of irresponsible and vicious attacks. He has been accused of “parading as a prophet.” Others have branded him a “false prophet.” These charges are reckless, unwarranted and un-Christ-like.

Jonathan Cahn’s message is thoroughly biblical. It is not based on any new revelation from God. Rather, it is based on the biblical principles that govern God’s relationship with nations. These are principles that I outlined in detail in my 2003 book entitled America the Beautiful? The United States in Bible Prophecy (revised editions in 2006 and 2009).

False Prophet?

The charge that he is a “false prophet” is downright ludicrous. His message is that America is in rebellion against God, that God has placed remedial judgments upon us, and that if we do not repent, God will deliver us from judgment to destruction. I ask you, “What part of that message is unbiblical?”

Furthermore, the Bible defines a false prophet as one who prophesies events that do not come to pass. If Rabbi Cahn prophesied that a specific event would take place on a specific date and that date were to come and go without the event happening, then he could legitimately be labeled as a “false prophet.” But he has done no such thing.

He is simply declaring biblical principles. He is reminding us of the following truths:

• That when a richly blessed nation like ours sets its face against God, the judgment of God will fall upon it.
• That the only way for a rebellious nation to avoid the ultimate judgment of God — namely, destruction — is for it to repent.

Misuse of Scripture?

Others have attacked Rabbi Cahn because they argue that he has taken a scripture directed to ancient Israel (Isaiah 9:10) and has applied it to the United States. Again, I ask, “What is wrong with that?” If the scripture is applicable, why not apply it to our nation?

Actually, we do that all the time. The Psalms and Proverbs were written to the Jewish people, yet we apply them to ourselves. Should we reject the 23rd Psalm because it was not specifically addressed to the Church?

Incredibly, Rabbi Cahn has been criticized for applying 2 Chronicles 7:14 to the United States. It reads as follows:

[If] My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Are we actually going to contend that this scripture applies only to Israel? Are we really going to argue that if the professing Christians of this nation were to sincerely repent of their sins and the sins of our nation, that God would ignore it?

This particular scripture contains a timeless principle about repentance that even applies to pagan nations. Thus, when God sent the prophet Jonah to the pagan city of Nineveh with a message of “Turn or Burn!” the Lord changed His mind when the king put on sack cloth and ashes, repented, and called for the whole city to do likewise.

Or consider the seven letters contained in the second and third chapters of Revelation. Each one was addressed to a specific church located in the area of Asia Minor (modern day Turkey). Do the letters apply only to those specific churches? Of course not! They are just as relevant to the Church at large today as they were when they were written to the seven specific churches in the First Century.

Jumping to Conclusions

Many of the criticisms of Rabbi Cahn’s message are based on unwarranted conclusions that people have jumped to in an effort to find something to criticize. For example, he has been accused of teaching that America is in a covenant relationship with God. The fact of the matter is that he has never said that. He simply notes that America’s founding fathers believed that, and therefore they consecrated the nation to God.

Another unwarranted conclusion is that he teaches Isaiah 9:10 was a prophecy about the United States rather than Israel. Again, Rabbi Cahn has never made such an assertion. What he teaches instead is that the ancient pattern of judgment that occurred in Israel is now recurring in America, and in “a stunningly precise way.”

A Book and a Sermon

As I reported in a recent issue of this magazine, I was not particularly impacted with Rabbi Cahn’s book, The Harbinger. Its writing style was not my cup of tea. But so what? It greatly impacted tens of thousands of others, and I was immensely impressed with the overall message of the book. It contained a biblical message that I believe the American people desperately need to hear, and I was delighted over the book’s success as it rose to the top of the best seller list.

What impressed me even more was Rabbi Cahn’s sermon which he presented at the recent Presidential Inaugural Breakfast in Washington, D.C. As I watched it on YouTube, I was transfixed by the frank, biblical content of the message and by Rabbi Cahn’s powerful, anointed delivery of it.

The message presented a stark, bone-chilling indictment against this nation for thumbing its nose at God. It was a hardhitting prophetic message that took great courage to deliver. I urge you to watch the 35 minute message on YouTube. (You can find it easily by googling Cahn’s name.)

Christians should be giving Rabbi Cahn a standing ovation, and many have. But some leaders of discernment ministries have tried, instead, to crucify him.

I know a genuine prophetic voice when I hear one, and as I watched Rabbi Cahn deliver his powerful message, I realized he was a prophetic voice raised up by God to warn this nation of its impending doom and to call us to repentance.

He is the successor to David Wilkerson who began delivering the same message in the 1970′s. At that time Wilkerson was the darling of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements. But the moment he began to call this nation to repentance and warn of God’s impending judgment, he was mercilessly attacked as a “false prophet” and was accused of misusing scriptures. Many churches stopped handling his books and speaking invitations were canceled. He was condemned for preaching a “negative message.”

Christian McCarthyism

The current unbridled, petty and vicious attacks on Rabbi Cahn smack of what I would call “Christian McCarthyism.” For those of you who might not be familiar with what I’m referring to, let me explain.

In the 1950s a wave of anti-Communism swept this nation and a Senator from Wisconsin named Joseph McCarthy decided to ride the wave. He started holding Congressional hearings during which he made wild allegations against many people, accusing them of being either Communists or Communist sympathizers. In the process, he ruined the lives of many people.

Senator McCarthy met his Waterloo when he decided to attack the U.S. Army, claiming many of its top officers were tainted by Communism. This action hurt him in two ways. First, it turned President Eisenhower against him. Second, the Army hired a defense counsel who would surprisingly prove to be very formidable. I say surprisingly because the attorney, Joseph Welch, seemed to be someone who would be eaten alive by McCarthy. That’s because Mr. Welch had a high, squeaky voice and an elf-like appearance.

As Mr. Welch began to demand that Senator McCarthy present evidence of his allegations, the Senator decided to go on the attack. He started accusing a young lawyer on Welch’s staff of being a Communist sympathizer. Welch interrupted the Senator and cried out in a wailing voice, “Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness…” When McCarthy resumed his attack, Welch interrupted him: “Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?”

This was one of the first Congressional hearings ever to be televised, and it exposed the Senator for what he was — a shallow, irresponsible, arrogant power-seeker who was willing to destroy other people in order to gain the limelight.

In like manner there are hyper-critics within Christianity today who are yelling “Apostate! Apostate!” over matters that really amount to nothing. If a person speaks to a group they disapprove of, they label him an “Apostate.” If he has a different viewpoint from theirs about a non-essential doctrine, he is branded an “Apostate.” If he compliments someone they don’t like, he is relegated to Hell as an “Apostate.”

An Appeal for Sanity

Grant Phillips, a Bible teacher in Kentucky who has pastored six churches in his lifetime, recently responded to the hysterical critics of Jonathan Cahn with these words:

Look folks, many of us need to… stop nitpicking everything the Lord is trying to tell us and just listen to what He is saying in whatever manner He chooses to say it. Even in my own experience of writing articles, every now and then, someone emails me who just wants to nit-pick at something I wrote while missing the message of the article. The phrase comes to mind, “They’re so heavenly minded, they’re no earthly good.” We need to humble our hearts and stop being so self-righteous.

In my personal correspondence with Jonathan Cahn, I have discovered that he has a very Christ-like spirit and a great sense of humor. In responding to his critics, he has killed them with kindness, refusing to respond with the same invective they have used in attacking him. He has dealt with issues and not personalities.

And his sense of humor has helped him to put the criticism in perspective. Let me give you some examples:

• In response to crazy allegations that he is somehow involved in advocating the prosperity message of the Word of Faith Movement, he wrote: “I not only speak against those doctrines regularly, but my author’s photo [shown on the cover of this magazine] was taken at Sears Budget Photo!”
• In response to an assertion that he is advocating Replacement Theology, he wrote: “I’m Jewish and a believer. In order to subscribe to Replacement Theology, I’d have to replace myself with myself. I’m open to trying, but it just strikes me as a lot of work to end up no better off than when I started!”
• In response to the nutty charge that he is espousing principles of Mormonism, he wrote: “Okay, I was once into Donny and Marie Osmond, but when they started singing ‘I’m A Little Bit Country, And I’m A Little Bit Rock and Roll,’ I drew the line. You see, I don’t believe in mixing doctrines.”
• In response to the absurd allegation that he is involved in some way in Masonry, he replied: “It’s true. I once had involvement with Masonry. It happened when I appeared as a guest on the Jackie Mason Show. But he’s the only Mason I’ve been involved with. And I renounced his comedy soon after the show.”

My Personal Stance

The nit-picking, Pharisaical hyper-critics of Christianity need to be reminded of the wisdom of Gamaliel which he shared with the Sanhedrin Council when they arrested Peter and the apostles and desired to kill them (Acts 5:29-33). Gamaliel stated that if what the followers of Jesus were teaching was false, nothing would come of it. “But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them.” He then added, “You may even be found fighting against God” (Acts 5:38-39).

The pit bulls of Christianity can growl and yap and snarl all they please, but anointed messengers of God like Wilkerson and Cahn will prevail because they are speaking the truth. I stand with them, and I am proud to do so.

Together with them, I cry from the depths of my heart, “Wake up America! You are blaspheming the very God who blessed you. He has sent prophetic voices and remedial judgments to warn you and call you to repentance. What will be your choice? Repentance or Destruction?”

These targets (see images below) are used to train DHS employees to shoot American citizens and they depict pregnant women, old men, children and even young moms with guns. The purpose of the targets, according to the company that sells them, is to “eliminate any hesitation” that U.S. government employees might normally feel in shooting to kill pregnant women, children and old men. (I’m not making this up. The government’s plan to murder Americans is now right out in the open…)

If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility to Fight?

I feel a tremendous responsibility to write this article though I am a little apprehensive. Thinking about the possibility of rising up against our own government is a frightening thing for many of us. I am not Johnny Rambo and I will be the first to admit that I do not want to die. The reason I feel compelled to write this, however, is simply because I don’t think the average American is equipped with the facts. I feel that a lot of American citizens feel like they have no choice but to surrender their guns if the government comes for them. I blame traditional media sources for this mass brainwash and I carry the responsibility of all small independent bloggers to tell the truth. So my focus today is to lay out your constitutional rights as an American, and let you decide what to do with those rights.

About a month ago I let the “democracy” word slip in a discussion with a fellow blogger. I know better. Americans have been conditioned to use this term. It’s not an accurate term and it never has been a correct term to describe our form of government. The truth is that the United States of America is a constitutional republic. This is similar to a democracy because our representatives are selected by democratic elections, but ultimately our representatives are required to work within the framework of our constitution. In other words, even if 90% of Americans want something that goes against our founding principles, they have no right to call for a violation of constitutional rights.

If you are religious you might choose to think of it this way… Say that members of your congregation decide that mass fornication is a good thing. Do they have the right to change the teachings of your God? The truth is the truth. It doesn’t matter how many people try to stray from it. Did I just compare our founders to God? In a way I did, but please note that I am not trying to insult anyone. For the purpose of the American Government our constitution and founders who wrote it are much like God is to believers. It is the law. It is indisputable.

Our founders did not want a “democracy” for they feared a true democracy was just as dangerous as a monarchy. The founders were highly educated people who were experienced in defending themselves against tyranny. They understood that the constitution could protect the people by limiting the power of anyone to work outside of it much better than a pure system of popularity. A system of checks and balances was set up to help limit corruption of government and also the potential for an “immoral majority” developing within the American People. We have forgotten in this country that we are ultimately ruled by a constitution.

Why is a democracy potentially just as dangerous as a monarchy? Let’s look at something that Benjamin Franklin said because it answers that question more fully and succinctly than I can.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. -Benjamin Franklin

Even 230+ years ago our founders were perceptive enough to realize that democracy was a dangerous form of government. How so? Because the citizens of a country can become just as corrupt as any government. We have seen evidence of this throughout history. Ask Native Americans and African-Americans if this population can become corrupt.

I think in 2012 we are seeing evidence of what Franklin was trying to tell us. Just because a majority of people may support certain ideas it does not mean that those ideas are just. In simple terms, just because most Americans love our president and voted for him, it does not mean that he has the power to go against our constitutional rights.

Next I’d like to review the text of the second amendment. It is very clear. This is the law of this land. So when Senator Feinstein or President Obama talk about taking your guns, you need to think about something. Are they honoring their sworn oath to uphold the constitution?

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

This is a pretty clear statement. The fact is that it took 232 years for the Supreme Court to even rule on this amendment because it has never been successfully challenged. In 2008 a case of Columbia v. Heller the Supreme Court ruled that a handgun ban in Washington D.C. was unconstitutional. One also has to take this into consideration. The Supreme Court supports your right to own guns. If you want to research this decision further you can start here.

For those who try to debate the spirit of the 2nd amendment, they are truly no different from people who will try to take Biblical quotes out of context to try to support their immoral decisions. The founders were very clear on the intent of the 2nd amendment. Let me share a few quick quotes here:

The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. -Thomas Jefferson

Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence … From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable . . . the very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that is good. -George Washington

The Constitution shall never be construed….to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms. -Samuel Adams

I could find hundreds of quotes like these. This country was built on the right to bear arms. It was built on the rights of an individual to bear arms, regardless of what his government or neighbor happened to think. This is crystal clear. Ironically the people who voice their opinions against this right have their free speech protected by your guns. Without guns in this country, all other amendments become null and void, simply because “We the People” will lose our power of enforcement.

We need to keep this in mind as our “representatives” try to push gun bans. I don’t care if 99% of people are in support of gun bans (which is far from the case), it is a violation of our constitutional rights, plain and simple.

A constitutional republic protects the rights of the individual even when their ideas are very much  in the minority. If I were the only person in America who believed in the 2nd amendment, I would still be within my rights to call upon it. You would all think I was insane and possibly celebrate if I was gunned down, but in the end I would be the only true American among us.

Our framers were very clear on this. If my government comes to take my guns, they are violating one of my constitutional rights that is covered by the 2nd amendment.

It is not my right, at that point, but my responsibility to respond in the name of liberty. What I am telling you is something that many are trying to soft sell, and many others have tried to avoid putting into print, but I am going to say it. The time for speaking in code is over.

If they come for our guns then it is our constitutional right to put them six feet under. You have the right to kill any representative of this government who tries to tread on your liberty. I am thinking about self-defense and not talking about inciting a revolution. Re-read Jefferson’s quote. He talks about a “last resort.” I am not trying to start a Revolt, I am talking about self-defense. If the day for Revolution comes, when no peaceful options exist, we may have to talk about that as well. None of us wants to think about that, but please understand that a majority can not take away your rights as an American citizen. Only you can choose to give up your rights.

Congress could pass gun ban legislation by a 90%+ margin and it just would not matter. I think some people are very unclear on this. This is the reason we have a Supreme Court, and though I do not doubt that the Supreme Court can also become corrupt, in 2008 they got it right. They supported the constitution. It does not matter what the majority supports because America is not a democracy. A constitutional republic protects the rights of every single citizen, no matter what their “elected servants” say. A majority in America only matters when the constitution is not in play.

I just wrote what every believer in the constitution wants to say, and what every constitutional blogger needs to write. The truth of the matter is that this type of speech is viewed as dangerous and radical or subversive, and it could gain me a world of trouble that I do not want. It is also the truth. To make myself clear I will tell you again. If they come for your guns it is your right to use those guns against them and to kill them. You are protected by our constitution.

Most of the articles I am reading on the subject are trying to give you clues without just coming out and saying it. I understand that because certain things in this country will get you on a list that you don’t want to be on. I may well be on that list. This blog is small and growing so I may not be there yet, but I have dreams. I also have my own list of subversives and anyone who attempts to deny my constitutional rights is on that list.

I am not the “subversive” here, it is the political representatives who are threatening to take away my inalienable rights. If they come to take my guns and I leave a few of them wounded or dead, and I somehow survive, I have zero doubt that I will spend a long time in prison and may face an execution. But I would much rather be a political prisoner than a slave.

If I go down fighting then I was not fighting to harm these human beings. I was simply defending my liberty and yours. It is self-defense and it is what our country was built on. We won our freedom in self-defense. We would not be ruled by a tyrannical government in the 1770′s and we will not be ruled in 2012 by a tyrannical government. There is no difference.

This is a case of right and wrong. As of now the 2nd amendment stands. It has never been repealed. If Feinstein or Barack have a problem with the constitution then they should be removed from office. They are not defending the constitution which they have sworn an oath to protect. It is treasonous to say the least. They would likely say the same about me, but I have the constitution, the founders, and the supreme court on my side. They only have their inflated egos.

I am not writing this to incite people. I am writing this in hopes that somehow I can make a tiny difference. I have no idea how many of my neighbors have the will to defend their constitutional rights. 2%? 20%? I am afraid that 20% is a high number, unfortunately. When push comes to shove many people may give up and submit to being ruled. I believe that our government is banking on this.

What I do know is that this country was founded by people who had balls the size of Texas and Patriotic Americans take shit off of no one, especially our own government. For evidence of that, you might research the Revolutionary War. My question is how many Patriots are left?

I would hope that our officials come to realize that, regardless of our numbers, we still exist because they are calling Patriotic Americans to action. They are making us decide if we want to die free or submit to their rule. I can not tell you where you should stand on that. I do know that it may make the difference between living a life of freedom or slavery.

You must start thinking about this because I believe that the day is coming soon and I personally believe it has already been planned. Not all conspiracy theories are hogwash. They may throw down the gauntlet soon and my suggestion is that you prepare yourself to react.

I mean no disrespect to our elected officials but they need to understand that “We the People” will not be disarmed. If they proceed then it is they that are provoking us and we will act accordingly. We are within our rights to do so.

For those who are in support of taking the guns, you need to ask yourself a very important question, and I am not just talking about the politicians, because if you support them, you have chosen your side.

Are you willing to die to take my guns?

If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility to Fight?

  Last week, the junior senator from Kentucky, Rand Paul, stood to his feet in the Senate chamber and began to speak. He said, “I rise today to begin to filibuster John Brennan’s nomination for the CIA. I will speak until I can speak no more.”

Though Senator Paul’s 13 hour filibuster stalled the nomination of Brennan to be the new director of the CIA, his real intention was to direct the public’s attention toward the Administration’s use of weaponized drones. He wanted to force the government to publicly declare that it did not have the right to use drones to kill Americans on American soil.

When he had earlier demanded a response from President Obama, he got the run-around. He told the Senate that he had asked the President, “Can you kill an American on American soil?” He was disappointed in the answer he received. Senator Paul said, “It should have been an easy answer. It’s an easy question. It should have been a resounding, an unequivocal, ‘No.’ The President’s response? He hasn’t killed anyone yet.”

Senator Paul explained his motives, “I wanted to sound an alarm bell from coast to coast. I wanted everybody to know that our Constitution is precious and that no American should be killed by a drone without first being charged with a crime….”

Finally, Attorney-General Eric Holder wrote a letter to Senator Paul. In it, he answered the Senator’s question: “Does the President have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil? The answer to that question is no.”

Between you and me, it’s stunning that anyone even needed to ask the question, or that a government official had to begrudgingly answer it. According to our Constitution, killing an American on American soil — or even “holding” him or her — without due process is NOT an option.

Unfortunately, this is not the America most of us grew up in. So many of the rights and freedoms we have traditionally taken for granted are now being eroded, challenged, or even arbitrarily stolen from us. And most of us are going like sheep to the slaughter — silently and meekly.

Why?

Two reasons. One, we’re afraid. 9/11 left Americans angry and fearful. So fearful that we have allowed our government to slowly dispense with the freedoms and Constitutional safeguards that have been our heritage as Americans.

Sadly, the fear has outlasted the anger.

Two, we’ve become greedy and lazy. To keep the bureaucrats feeding us, subsidizing us, educating us, protecting us, and making us feel like we deserve it, we let them do whatever they want.

Frankly, the amount of power now in the hands of government, especially the federal government, would terrify America’s founders. We are now undoing what they worked so hard to secure for future generations.

This week, I’m going to examine the current status of our rights as Americans by discussing our “Rights and the Bible,” our “Rights and Power,” and our “Rights and Righteousness.”

One last note. As I’m sure you know by now, the Roman Catholic church has a new leader. Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Argentina, was elected last Wednesday evening by the College of Cardinals at the Vatican. He has chosen to be known as Pope Francis. Because of our production schedule, his election occurred too late for me to cover it in this week’s program. We will, however, cover it thoroughly on next week’s show.

Demonization of God Fearing Patriots is Under Way!

Hello brothers & sisters today is Thursday March 14, 2013 and as the picture shows remember the good old days. We are seeing increasing lawlessness not by citizens but by our Government, local, state and Federal and it is getting serious. I wish to show how our Government along with the Main Stream Media have started a campaign to demonize God Fearing patriots. As I showed in yesterdays video you cannot even question these Godless demons who have infested our Government without being arrested for making “terroristic threats.”

  This first report comes from Citizens Action Network on Facebook their link to their site is in the about section under this video. Race baiting to make it ok to the general public to round up those who are dissidents has begun. It is a fundamental right as Americans to question the government. Yet They want to take that away. This next one shows how the Government is trying to turn Americans against each other.

The FBI published 25 pamphlets and distributed them to people who work in the general public to give them information on how to spot a terrorist based on a number of “suspicious behavior” indicators. People at construction sites, electronic stores, beauty salons, airports and other places were advised on what kind of behavior is consistent with domestic terrorism.

In most of the pamphlets, people were advised to be suspect of anyone who pays with cash; has missing fingers or hands; changes his appearance by shaving his beard, dying his hair or changing his style of clothing; makes comments about “radical theology”; or smells funny.

It would have been a lot easier and a lot cheaper to just say to be suspect of anyone who is human and not wearing a government uniform.

Beauty salons and drug stores are told to watch out for customers who don’t drive themselves but are dropped off and picked up by someone else. (If you’re elderly and need a ride, you might be a terrorist.)

Gas station attendants are told to look out for customers who put gas in gas cans. (If you run out of gas, you might be a terrorist.)

Construction sites are advised to consider glued locks as evidence of terrorism. (Definitely not a prank pulled by unruly teenagers.)

Dive boat shops are told to look out for customers who rent a boat for an “extended amount of time.” (If you have too much fun on your rented boat, you might be a terrorist.)

Electronics stores are advised to look out for those who purchase an assortment of electronic supplies. (If you frequent Radio Shack or Fry’s, you might be a terrorist.)

Banks should be on the lookout for customers who deposit multiple checks or money orders. (If you have more than one stream of income, you might be a terrorist.)

Hobby shops are told to keep an eye out for those who have an “unusual” interest in remote-controlled airplanes. (If you’re a hobbyist, you might be a terrorist.)

Home improvement stores are told to watch out for customers buying lots of watches or kitchen timers. (If you’re a chef, you might be a terrorist.)

They’re also advised to be on the lookout for people buying pipe, particularly in short lengths, or camouflaged clothing. (If you’re a plumber or someone who lives in the South, you might be a terrorist.)

Hotels and Motels are told to look out for guests who have lots of luggage and for those who don’t want cleaning service. (If you’re a woman who values her privacy, you might be a terrorist.)

Internet cafes are told to watch out for patrons who have more than one cell phone or who are seen switching out their SIM cards. (If you have a business phone and a personal phone, you might be a terrorist.)

Passengers and drivers on mass transportation are told to look out for people who have cameras, are drawing pictures or writing things down. (If you write down your grocery list while you’re on the bus, you might be a terrorist.)

Military surplus stores are told to look out for those who purchase a lot of meals ready-to-eat (MRE). (If you’re planning a camping trip, you might be a terrorist.)

Rental truck facilities are told to look out for customers who ask about how big a particular truck is or how much fuel it holds. (If you have to move a lot of stuff to your new house, you might be a terrorist.)

The general public is advised to be suspect of anyone who seems to be overdressed for the weather (if you’re cold, you’re probably hiding something under your coat) or anyone who is critical of U.S. foreign policy.

California seizes guns from owners – and it might become a national model

In California, the government is already coming for the guns.
Notwithstanding the Second Amendment, rules and regulations across the United States outline certain restrictions for who can legally possess a firearm. In the state of California, factors such as a felony conviction or a history of mental health issues mean roughly 20,000 gun owners are holding onto their firearms illegally. Slowly but surely, though, Golden State police officers are prying them away. There’s more, though: backers of the program suggest this becomes a nation-wide practice, and are asking the White House to help make it happen.

In other cities and towns across the country, Americans are standing up against what many say are unconstitutional attempts to disarm the United States. In New York State, new legislation is making it harder for Americans to purchase firearms, and one provision will provide gun owners with a felony charge if they ignore new registration rules — which is enough on its own to make owning guns illegal. Across the board more states are demanding stricter background checks, but as efforts to remove weapons from the hands of Americans — voluntarily and involuntarily — are ramped up, though, those that disagree are doing what they can to keep their country armed.

Homeland Security Drones Designed to Identify Civilians Carrying Guns

Recently uncovered government documents reveal that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) unmanned Predator B drone fleet has been custom designed to identify civilians carrying guns and track cell phone signals.

“I am very concerned that this technology will be used against law-abiding American firearms owners,” said founder and executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, Alan Gottlieb. “This could violate Fourth Amendment rights as well as Second Amendment rights.”

Gun Control

“O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous, thou who triest the minds and hearts, thou righteous God.” Psalm 7:9. I love my brethren and care deeply for them, and I have a burden on my heart for the lost of this world. The strangeness and lateness of the hour compels me to write about a very distressing subject. Bible prophecy foretold the world, in the last days, would accept a world leader who will usher in a one world everything. To accomplish this agenda, there must first be control.

Here in the US our leaders are doing their part in this grand scheme of control by enacting regulations that will ultimately result in the authoritarian power over the masses. A major fine tuning is underway by those who wish to push their agenda of control upon Americans; they call it “Gun Control”.

Murder by any other name is still murder, but the government seems to be confused on this point. Although our government is attempting to control guns supposedly so people won’t kill people, they conversely support the murder of babies, and call it abortion. “Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood, let us wantonly ambush the innocent;” Proverbs 1:11. These bureaucrats claim that the rash of mass murders across our land is the reason they need to control the distribution of guns and ammo. They neglect to mention anything about the millions of murders that occur yearly by the hands of paid American assassins.

Sixty million unborn babies have been murdered in their mother’s womb over the last 40 years. Not one gun was used in these legally sanctioned murders; when the guns are taken away from the citizenry we the people of the US will have about as much defense as the unborn in their mother’s womb. Perhaps it’s only fitting we die like the ones we would not stand up for. “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3. As a nation, America has turned her back on God, and by murdering the heritage of the Lord we’ve spit in His eye. What’s He got in store for America? Watch out America, God will not be mocked.

Murdering babies while still in their mother’s womb has now become commonplace in America and around the world. There is little resistance these days to the evil agenda of the power elite that has now been exposed to the light of day. These communist “progressive” elitists’ with their vested powers are boldly moving into other “control” arenas. Yes, abortion is a control mechanism as is the confiscation of guns. Now they’ve prepared and passed legislation (Obamacare) which effectively expands those murders to include other segments of society and to do so with complete impunity. Who will be next on their agenda to be eliminated? The aged, the infirm, the physically disabled, other handicapped, the mentally challenged? Anyone who is deemed to be a blight on society by these elitists and evil people will be targeted. Anyone who is not a productive member of society will be eliminated. Realizing there must be something more to their agenda than simply gun control is easy when we consider the many “controls” that have been, and are being, placed on our society today.

From what is being reported concerning all the gun and ammo sales across this land, there seems to be a lot of people, patriots of all sorts, ready and willing to stand up for their rights and for the rights of others. How many of those people will be as determined when forced to face overwhelming odds is unclear. There are many loyal Obamaites (followers of the Marxist messiah), which means that a good many people are now fully intent on capitulating to the government’s demands. At this point in America, gun control is only one aspect of controlling the citizenry. There are many more controls which ultimately must be firmly in place to finally usher in a one world everything.

The arming of the people was a good idea in the days when this country first strived to become an independent nation. But, in the eyes of these liberal socialist Marxist, the liberty of owning guns for the purpose of “self-defense” must be eliminated. The attack on our sovereignty didn’t begin with the mass murder of those innocent children in Connecticut. No indeed, we’ve been under attack for many decades. But what we see today is that their agenda is now coming to fruition.

Why must all guns be confiscated (It is being reported that anything with a pistol grip is to be illegal)? Just as Japan wouldn’t attack America’s mainland when they had set their sights on world domination, the same holds true today for Marxist socialist liberals. In the mind of the Marxist sitting in the Oval office, everybody has guns and they will fire back when attacked – so for “control”, disarm them.

There are those who say gun control is only about control and has little or nothing to do with guns. If it weren’t for the guns the control would already be complete. My friends, we are living in a time that can only be deduced as the extreme last days. Evil abounds in every sector of society. Morality has lost its savor. People no longer desire a peaceful coexistence. Aggression and malice have replaced civility. These days It seems that hatred is power, the more power one exhibits the more hatred is exposed. Power and control are the necessities behind the agenda of these morally deranged Marxists. There is no other way to explain what we see occurring in the US. Those who have the power over the people today are forcing their wanton, evil agenda on the rest of us. Sadly, there just doesn’t seem to be many observers of the times who still have the fortitude to raise the banner of protest against this current blitzkrieg of attacks.

The destruction of America is well on its way. In order for a one world government to become established, control over the populace is necessary. This means every nation on earth must comply so that the enemy can move in with minimal resistance. Obviously, no leadership bent on establishing such controls would want any nation to be as heavily armed as are individual Americans. As soon as gun control measures become law, many law abiding Americans will become lawbreakers. But control is control and the enemy will have control, for a while at least. Yes, I’m referring to a supernatural enemy. Satan can’t have his delusional human followers being gunned down, that would mean more training of more people and he’s running out of time. So, get ready for what’s looming on the horizon – a massive takeaway program.

The following examples are in essence control measures used to establish the agenda of the enemy: Climate change aka global warming, creating a dummbed down citizenry through public education, even an overweight citizenry completely dependent on government handouts can be seen as part of their agenda, all major news media in the hands of the progressives. Eliminating the patriarchal head of the family and introducing the abomination of homosexuality as a normal and accepted lifestyle is part of their scheme to bring down the moral society we once knew.  These and many more extreme evils are all part of the agenda of the Luciferian elite. To give thought to all this evil boggles the mind of the sane; many simply refuse to believe such overwhelming evil could have infiltrated our hallowed halls of government. They have, quite successfully, infiltrated many of our Christian congregations as well. Their agenda is control and they are quite adept when it comes to technique.

Are these followers of Satan out to kill us all? We The People now consume genetically modified (GM) crops and animals fed with GM food, which many believe is causing untold health problems in America. Something evil is rousing, yet not many have a clue. The leadership in our government is talking about taking over all the water rights in our land, even on our farms. We will soon be forced to turn over the rights to our own personal drilled water wells to the government bureaucrats. This way the water can be doled out as they see fit. Full and severe control is at the doorstep of mankind.

Everything our current leadership is involved in is a precursor to establishing the one world leader that every true follower of Jesus Christ knows is coming, yet dreads the idea. The word of God and current observed events around our nation and around the globe align perfectly. All will come to pass just as is written in the Holy Scriptures.

I’m as aghast as anyone at what I see approaching. The fact is we’ve grown accustomed to living in this world, and we’ve grown accustomed to our customs. All the signs point to our federal government preparing to eliminate scores of its citizens. This can be easily validated by searching the web for information on the HLS and its purchase of large amounts of ammo. Billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition for practice purposes? If that be the case it’s an unprecedented move, thus suspect. I believe there is an alternative motive behind the purchase of such a huge mass of rounds of hollow point ammunition. If I’m correct, then my suspicions will soon be proven true. “…For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14. There is a time to live and a time to die and no one will live past their God ordained lifespan.

Controlling the populace is the current goal of the elected leadership in America. Gun control is a major hurdle, but it must occur because the god of this world is pursuing for that end to his agenda. History details for us that many times in the past, in other nations around the globe, the leadership of those nations enacted the same controlling measures as we see occurring in the US today, always with extreme negative affects to the inhabitants of those nations. Millions were slaughtered in the 20th Century alone by the leadership of those nations as “control” became established. There will be the same in the US. Why? Because the citizenry of the US has forgotten their history books. When people forget history they are doomed to repeat it.

When the sheep fall asleep the wolf pack takes the heap. We The People have ceded what we once had to the Federal government. The leadership in America has determined that the sheep are nothing more than just that – sheep. When the people’s votes can be bought by simply giving them a free cell phone, you can be sure that those people have lost their senses. The American people have become so very delusional that lies are now seen as truth. The few that are not under the delusion, who see the lies for what they are, and who will make a stand with their new rifles, will no doubt be hounded until they are destroyed by the very same leaders they placed in elected office. The end is in sight. We are being transformed into a world which the antichrist can manipulate with ease. Where is our hope?

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13. We who have placed our lives in the hands of God by believing in His only begotten Son, our blessed hope is Jesus, and in His hands we are secure. I’m sorry to say we are in the minority. Many of our family members and our dear friends who have rejected God’s free gift for their salvation are in for a horrible future, especially after Christ relocates His Ekklesia to Heaven.

The phenomenon unfolding before us is like watching a woman in travail – birth pangs. There is an agenda being pushed upon us which will ultimately establish a position of such power over the rest of humanity that mankind will no longer have a sense of any control over their own lives. Certainly we are dwelling in the time spoken of as the “…beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:8.

Lest we, the body of Christ, forget “…God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7. Jesus is coming soon! Hallelujah! Amen!

Many of you have inquired as to the state of my health, therefore I feel I must maintain this little running commentary to keep everyone up to date. My eyesight has become a major problem, and the Myasthenia is worsening, none of the treatments have been successful. I’m in stage 2 diabetes which is caused by the steroids I’m taking as a treatment for the Myasthenia. The prostate cancer has made a comeback and I have begun the hormone treatments again. Through all this “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13. Your prayers and comments are most welcome and appreciated.
