The Wars of Ezekiel 29, Isaiah 17:1 and Psalm 83

Published by AL Beebe

For a while now I have been watching things happen in the middle east and especially with Israel and been thinking a lot about what I have seen transpire. And been putting off writing this for a while now but The Lord has been pushing me to get this out. It concerns Ezekiel 29, Isaiah 17:1 and Psalm 83. There are 2 main scenarios I see developing.

Israel strikes Iran either with conventional air strike directly on their nuke weapons site or with an EMP strike ( Electro Magnetic Pulse) burst. I will discuss later why I think this is more likely.
Once Israel strikes Iran ( which they have no choice but to do, eventually Iran will obtain a nuke and it will be game on), the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt, Syria, allied with Iran and Hezbollah and Hamas will attack Israel from all sides.

Hamas- just signed a binding agreement with Iran to side with them in the event of war with Israel. They will attack with some 50,000 troops and some 50,000 to 60,000 rockets from Gaza and make a run on the border with Israel.

Hezbollah- Has 5 divisions stationed across from Galilee that is approx. 50,000 troops, and will make a run for Galilee in a blitzkrieg looking to cause as much damage as possible military, civilian, women or children it will make no difference to them.

Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood- Egypthas moved 200-300 M60 Persing tanks into the Sinai in direct violation of the 1978-79 peace agreement with Israel as well as surface to surface anti-ship missiles, and several thousand troops. And only the Lord Know what else, and you can be the recent attack on Israel southern border was a probe to test for weakness. Actually that was the second such

 attack in the last month.

Why I believe Iran and Turkey will directly sit this one out. Iran will use their pawns as mentioned above to do their dirty work without risking a direct attack against Israel. That is if Israel hasn’t EMP’s them already. And remember Iran (aka Persia) has to be around for the battle of Gog and Magog, as well as Turkey.

Ezekiel 29- States basically Egypt will be no more it will be layed waste for 40 years. How no one knows but based on current events it could very well be battle related. Back in 1940-1950 Egypt approached the UN and US to help them build the Aswan High Dam to help control the Nile River and to produce electric. Well there was a coup where Nasser took over and due to being communistic the UN and US backed out and Russia stepped in and agreed to help.
Well what resulted was the Aswan High Dam. The Aswan High Dam is 3,830 metres long, 980 metres wide at the base, 40 metres wide at the crest and 111 metres tall. It contains 43 million cubic metres of material. At maximum, 11,000 cubic metres per second of water can pass through the dam. There are further emergency spillways for an extra 5,000 cubic metres per second and the Toshka Canal l

inks the reservoir to the Toshka Depression. The reservoir, named Lake Nasser, is 550 km long and 35 km at it’s widest with a surface area of 5,250 square kilometres. It holds 132 cubic kilometres of water. They actually bragged that nothing but a nuke could destroy the dam. Israel has made the statement in the past if they ever were attacked by Egypt in the future they would do just that and nuke the dam. All of Egypt’s population other than the Sinai is along the Nile River. It would effectively wipe out Egypt. Never before in Egypt’s history has it been laid waste it has never gone out of existence since before Abraham.
Isaiah 17:1- basically talks about Damascus being a smoldering heap. Now the question remains to be seen is this because of the civil war going on inside, or from outside forces.
Israel already issued a warning to Syria several years ago that if one missile or rocket fell on Israel from Syria, Israel would start with Damascus and nuke every Syrian city. And based on what I mentioned earlie

r about Iran moving a ton of troops into Syria so I believe they can launch an attack on Israel.

The Samson option- We need also to remember Israel has the Sampson Option- We remember from the bible that Sampson prayed to the Lord to give him strength to bring down the palace killing his and Israel’s enemies and thus killing himself. Israel always launches plans with nukes on board anytime they are involved in a conflict just in case it escalates and they are in danger of being overrun.

After this happens the world will cry for Israel’s blood. And this will set up Ezekiel 38-39 the battle of Gog and Magog. And if notice Egypt and Syria is not mentioned anywhere in that coalition. And there is no reason for the Lord not to mention them by name and instead mention a lesser country like Ethiopia which is modern day Sudan and Cush (Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco) unless Egypt and Syria is no longer there. And why not attack from the south by Sudan and Cush because Egypt is radioactive from the nuke strike on the dam all that irradiated water came pouring out and swamped the land of Egypt so they must attack from the north.
And another reason I don’t believe Syria is there anymore because based on what God said in the bible about the size of the army that will attack from the north it will take Israel 7 years to clean up after the battle and they will be able to burn the left over fuel for 7 years without taping their own reserves. Assad of Syria is such an egomaniac he would never allow an army that size to come through his country unless he is not there.
Scenario 2 plays out the same basically except one of the enemies of Israel or another attack first and then the rest join in. And maybe Israel seizing the opportunity to EMP Iran figuring things are about as bad as they can be and they have nothing to lose.
Why and EMP attack- Basically Israel’s options are limited to fly a very long way over hostile territory and have to refuel midair ( which they can do, they have the ability) and loose any element of surprise.
And I wouldn’t put it past Obama to try and stop them by either directly intercepting Israeli planes as they fly over the Persian Gulf or by alerting Iran they are coming. He is not to be trusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All Israel would have to do is get one of their Subs into the Arabian sea and launch a tactical nuke and detonate it in the atmosphere above Iran and it would burn up every electronic device, communications, electric, radar, some vehicles, etc. etc. gone. It would through Iran back into the Stone Age overnight, and would be much more effective in stopping their nuke program than a direct strike. And much more friendly to the civilians than a nuke strike or a direct strike on their nuke facilities due to radioactive fallout from their factories and such.
About 2 years prior Israel purchased several dolphin class subs from Germany and retrofitted them with ballistic missiles (tactical nukes). As well there have been reports that Israel is sitting on a lot of secret weapons that even the United States is unaware of.
And above all we need to remember Israel has one secret weapon that everyone always forgets about
GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! They always underestimate Gods promise to protect the apple of HIS eye.

This is just my opinion based on what I see going on. I could be wrong but what I have seen especially in the last couple weeks says it will go down very similar to this. However it happens it appears we will soon find out.

I Believe we will ( as Christians see Ezek 29 and Issiah 17 and Pslam 83 fullfilled). Then I believe some time before Ezekial 38-39 we will see the rapture, and we will be gone.

Sincerely
Your Brother in Christ

Al Qaeda targets Riyadh, Jeddah and Sderot. Saudi cell had chemicals

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report August 26, 2012, 10:23 PM (GMT+02:00)

Found in possession of terror cells in Saudi Arabia
Found in possession of terror cells in Saudi Arabia

For the first time, a thread links the three rockets which hit the Israeli town of Sderot Sunday, Aug. 26, slightly injuring two workmen, and the two terrorist cells captured in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the same day,DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report. Both events were conceived by Al Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula. AQAP has ordered its Sinai cells and Egyptian and Palestinian offshoots to step up their attacks from Sinai and the Gaza Strip.
By three happenings Sunday, AQAP broke new and menacing ground:

1. Three Qassam missiles fired at the industrial zone Sderot shares with Shear Hanegev ushered in a Gaza-based anti-Israel offensive launched by the “Shura Council in the Jerusalem Area” – the umbrella organization of all the Salafi groups operating in Sinai and the Gaza Strip.
This group’s 6,000-strong force of well-armed terrorists is commanded by an Egyptian by the name of Hisham Saydani. Al Qaeda has dubbed him Abu al-Walid al-Maqdisi. He and his lieutenants serve as liaison between the Sinai cells and AQAP headquarters in Yemen.

2.  Hamas held Saydani in a special security prison cell in the Gaza Strip until two weeks ago when, for some unknown reason, which US, Egyptian and Israeli counter-terror agencies are trying to discover, Hamas let him go. His first action was to set up the Shura Council’s attack near Rafah, in which 16 Egyptian troops were killed and the Kerem Shalom crossing barrier into Israel was rammed. The gunmen were liquidated before they reached their target: the IDF Bedouin Reconnaissance Battalion’s command base nearby.
This operation was designed at the highest AQAP command level.
Suspecting that at least three of the perpetrators had gone to ground in the Gaza Strip, Egypt demanded that Hamas hunt them down and arrest them. The Shura Council’s three-missile volley against Sderot was its way of warning Hamas to call off the hunt or else the missile fire would continue and bring Israeli retribution down on the Hamas-ruled enclave.
The same tactic was behind the firing of two Grad missiles against the southern Israeli resort and port town of Eilat Friday, Aug. 17. That too was an al Qaeda warning to Cairo to call off the Egyptian military’s pursuit of Salafi terrorists in Sinai or else more missiles would be loosed against southern Israel.
Two days later, Israel placed Eilat under the guard of an Iron Dome missile defense battery.

Following these two incidents, al Qaeda’s Shura Council announced that Israeli towns would be held hostage for the halting of Egyptian and Hamas military pursuit of its members in Sinai and the Gaza Strip, which must stop forthwith.
3. Sunday, too, the Saudi Interior Minister announced the busting of two al Qaeda cells in the capital Riyadh and the Saudi summer capital of Jeddah on the Red Sea, which were plotting attacks on Western targets, and local security forces and public places in the kingdom. There were eight arrests, two Saudis and six Yemenis.
Saudi sources disclosed that they were members of AQAP, operating under the orders of the organization’s headquarters in Yemen. Found in their possession were weapons and explosives and also chemical substances for loading into explosive charges.

This is the first evidence since 2002, when a bomb packed with poison chemicals was detonated by Palestinian suicide killer in Jerusalem, of the use of chemical weapons by Middle East terrorists. It is feared that those weapons may also have found their way to Sinai.

Ex-CIA Analyst Tells Us The Real Reason Israel Wants To Strike Iran Before The US Election

For months senior Israeli officials have said the “window of opportunity” for attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities is “before the U.S. presidential election in November” because Iran’s nuclear facilities will soon be in fortified underground bunkers out of the reach of Israeli bombs.
But former CIA analyst Ray McGovernbelieves that delaying Iran’s nuclear capabilities is not the primary concern of a military strike, but simply the pretext.”The Israelis want to pretend the Iranians are building up their nuclear capabilities, want to zap them between now and November 6, and the chances are at least even that they will try to do that thinking the U.S. will come in with both feet,” McGovern told us.McGovern thinks that “Israel does not fear a nuclear weapon in Iran’s hands” because Israel already has a nuclear arsenaland the threat of Iran having a couple of nukes “would not be all that credible except in a limited, deterrent way.”That deterrent would be important, however, because “since 1967 the Israelis have been able to pretty much do whatever they want in that area” and a nuclear Iran would bring a “different strategic situation because, for the first time, Israel would have to look over their shoulder.”

So even though Israel’s leaders don’t truly fear imminent nuclear annihilation, McGovern says they “would like to end any possibility, however remote, that anytime soon Iran could have that kind of very minimal deterrent capability.”

McGovern believes that Israel’s primary goal is to “have Iran bloodied the same way we did to Iraq” so that Iran “would no longer be able to support Hamas and Hezbollah in Gaza, Lebanon, and elsewhere.”

And the reason Nov. 6 is an important date, McGovern wrote in a recent article, is that “a second-term Obama would feel much freer not to commit U.S. forces on Israel’s side” and “might use U.S. leverage to force Israeli concessions on thorny issues relating to Palestine.”

There is serious doubt that Israel could handle a full-fledged war with Iran, and Israeli Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu has admitted that he would prefer the U.S. and its superior firepower lead any attack.

A potential loss of leverage after Nov. 6 would explain the current drumbeat of war being played by Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

BI contributor ForexCrunch points out that Netanyahu was recently granted greater powers within the government, a text message system is being tested in case of retaliation to an attack, the Bank of Israel ispreparing the financial system for an Israeli strike in Iran, France is preparing to evacuate its citizens from Israel, and the Israeli media have published a flurry of articles suggesting a military strike is imminent.

“Netanyahu feels, with good reason, that he’s got Obama in a corner for these next three months,” McGovern said. “If he’s right about Obama jumping in with both feet—and I think Obama would do that—even though Israeli generals are advising that it could be a disaster, [then] Netanyahu is willing to try it.”

For its part the Obama administration has been doing everything it can—short of saying that it would not back an Israeli strike—to delay an attack. Beyond offering firepower in exchange for waiting until after the election, U.S. officials informed Israel that staunch American ally Saudi Arabia vowed to take down any Israeli jet flying in its airspace.

And five senior officials—including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta—have visited Israel this month to insist there is still time for diplomacy, in the form of talks and heavy sanctions, to prevent a physical attack.

But, as McGovern notes, it may not be up to the U.S. at this point.

“We are at war with Iran right now—not only the cyber attacks, but the special forces inside Iran and the assassination of the Iranian scientists,” McGovern said. “The only question is whether that will extend to an attempt to destroy their nuclear-development facilities, and that’s up to Israel.”

International terrorist groups with roots in Libya, Sudan and Iraq are working to take over the Sinai Peninsula, according to a report from the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center. Efforts to turn the region into a major launching point for attacks are being encouraged by Al-Qaeda head Ayman al-Zawahiri, it stated.

The report noted a recent attack near the border as evidence of terrorists’ attempts to take advantage of the anarchy and growing anger in Sinai.

Gaza terrorist groups are heavily involved, it noted. “Palestinian terrorist groups active in the Gaza strip are accessible to local Bedouin organizations in Sinai which affiliatethemselves with the global jihad, and have both financial and ideological motives.”

Hamas generally attempts to force international jihad terror groups, including “rebel” groups in Gaza, into following its relatively restrained approach to terrorism, the authors said. Hamas has occasionally declared ceasefires with Israel, apparently fearing a repeat of the Cast Lead counterterror operation of 2008-2009.

However, they continued, Hamas leaders are happy to see other groups carry out attacks with no “address” – that is, with no single known terrorist group behind them.

Such attacks have included rocket attacks, attacks on Israelis near the border, and weapons smuggling from Sinai to Israel.

“Hamas and other organizations are careful to hide this type of activity, and sometimes even to deny it, in order to avoid exposing themselves to an Israeli response,” they noted. In addition, the groups seek to avoid “complicating their relationships with Egypt, particularly in the era after the election of Mohammed Morsi as Egyptian president.”

Jihadist Tells Iran, Uprising in Jordan Can Help Crush Israel

An Islamic Jihad official tells Iran that a popular uprising in Jordan would break the last part of Israel‘s “security chain.”

An Islamic Jihad official told Iran that a popular uprising in Jordan would break the last part of Israel’s security chain.”

Abu Sharif stressed that the recent popular uprisings in the region have harmed the interests of Israel, according to the Iran’s controlled FarsNews Agency.

“These developments (popular uprisings) in the region are in theinterest of the regional nations and against the interests of the Zionist regime and have disturbed the power balance between the supporters and opponents of the Zionist regime,” Abu Sharif said.

He cited the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 as the first of several events “inflicted great damage on Israel.” Abu Sharif continued, “The deterioration of relations between Turkey and Israel was the second blow at the regime and Mubarak’s fall in Egypt was another blow.

“If the regional changes reach Jordan, the Israeli regime will lose the last part of its security chain.”

Jordan and Egypt are Israel’s only neighbors with whom diplomatic relations have been established.

The 1979 treaty with Egypt has survived frigid relations in the latter part of Mubarak’s regime, and the Muslim Brotherhood victories in the Egyptian legislative and presidential elections have left the treaty in questionable terms. Egypt is not about to break it, if for no other reason than its economic value and because of political pressure from the United States, which is a major source of foreign aid to Cairo.

However, the terms of the treaty, particularly the extent of armed Egyptian soldiers in the terrorist-infested Sinai Peninsula, may be challenged by the new regime.

Relations with Jordan have been less noisy, but the majority of non-Jordanian Arabs, descendants from families who fled Israel in previous wars, have created a demographic and political time bomb for King Abdullah II.

To the north, Hizbullah controls southern Lebanon and Syria is engulfed n an all-out civil war. To the south, Israel faces Hamas terrorists in Gaza, and cells of Bedouin, Hamas and  Al Qaeda–linked terrorists in the Sinai.

The jihadists see an uprising in Jordan as leaving Israel surrounded by stated enemies with a common principle of annihilating Israel.

Egyptian Cleric: People Thirst for Jews’ Blood

Sallah Sultan on Hamas TV: Israel used girls with AIDS to seduce young Egyptians and infect them.

Hamas’s Al Aqsa TV has aired sermons by an Egyptian cleric in which he says that people he meets everywhere “thirst for the blood of the Jews.” The video was monitored and translated by MEMRI.

The sermons by cleric Sallah Sultan, who founded the Ohio-based American Center for Islamic Research, were aired on July 27 and August 3.

“I travel all over the world,” he says, “and I met supporters of Al-Aqsa, of the prisoners, of Jerusalem, and of Palestine – people who thirst for the blood of the Jews, and who are eager for the promised war against the sons of Zion, until Palestine is liberated in its entirety.”

Sultan goes on to say that “Under the previous [Egyptian] regime over 30,000 Zionists entered Egypt every month, defiling its land. The Egyptian police were forced to protect them, while they were getting drunk and picking fights.”

“There was a great scandal, when [alleged Israeli spy] Misrati and some Jews entered Egypt, in order to commit all kinds of crimes here: counterfeit dollars, takingphotographs of military bases, girls with AIDS seducing young Egyptians in order to infect them, and the vilest act of all – for the price of one Egyptian pound Misrati and his gang would seduce young Egyptian boys from Cairo, Alexandria and Upper Egypt. They took young children who did not know any better and sodomized them.”

In 2010, Sultan accused Zionists of making Pesach matzas from the blood of Christian children. In 2011, he declared that a 1994 edict that called for the murder of “every Zionist who enters Egypt – tourist or not” would be renewed.

Iran Prepping For War

http://www.wnd.com

Iran in recent days sent a series of missile and rocket convoys to the Islamic Jihad terrorist group in the Gaza Strip, a senior Egyptian security official told WND.

The official said the increased weapons flow to Gaza is seen as part of a wider Iranian strategy to prepare for the possibility of a war involving Syria, with particular concern about the prospect of a future Turkish or NATO confrontation with Damascus.

The official said the Egyptian military aided in the attempt to stop some of the Iranian convoys. He said some weapons made it through to Gaza.

The Iranian arming of Islamic Jihad is causing tension between the jihadist group and Gaza’s Hamas rulers.

WND previously reported that according to well-placed sources within Hamas speaking to WND, the jihadist group has been asked by the Egyptian military to stay out of any future confrontation between Israel and Iran.

For the first time in recent years, Hamas, feeling confident from major Muslim Brotherhood gains in the region, is considering distancing itself somewhat from Iran, the sources said.

The group may even remain largely neutral if Israel strikes Iran’s suspected nuclear sites, the sources said. The sources added, however, that no decision has been made.

Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood belong to the Sunni stream of Islam while Iran’s leadership espouses fundamentalist Shiite Islam. While Iran has long supported Sunni groups such as Hamas, the major differences in Islamic ideology and practice have always caused unease.

Indeed, one of the most senior Hamas officials, speaking previously to WND on condition of anonymity, once said he would ultimately be pleased if Israel strikes Iran’s nuclear sites, even if it means scaled-back Iranian funding to his group. The Hamas official said he fears Iran would use a nuclear umbrella to enforce a Shiite superpower in the Middle East at the expense of the Sunnis.

According to several Hamas sources, there has been tension between the jihad group and Iran over Hamas’ decision to not aid Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s battle against an insurgency targeting his regime.

The uprising has been supported by the Muslim Brotherhood. Syria is a major Iranian partner in the region.

Tension between Israel and Syria has been rising in recent days. Yesterday, Syria’s former minister said the country can use its chemical weapons if it faces “external aggression.”

“Syria will never use (chemical weapons) against Syrians no matter what,” Jihad Makdissi added in a news conference aired on state television.

He said that the weapons were guarded by the Syrian army.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu consulted the heads of Israel’s security establishment over the tension with Syria.

“We are monitoring the events in Syria closely and are prepared for any development to come,” Netanyahu said.

Iran Producing Deadly Anti-Tank ‘Kornet’ Missile

Iran is copy-catting the deadly Russian Kornet anti-tank missile that Hizbullah used against Israeli soldiers in the Second Lebanon War and which Hamas used to kill a student on a school bus last year.

Quoting defense sources in London and Moscow, the Gulf News websitequoted a Russian defense advisor as saying that Iran may have obtained the design for the Kornet missile from Hizbullah. An analyst from Jane’s Defense suggested that Hamas and/ or Syria may have been the source for handing over the design to Iran, which does not have a license from Russia to produce the missile.

IDF intelligence failed to obtain advanced information that Hizbullah possessed the Kornet missile, and Israeli tanks were unprepared for missile attacks that killed dozens of soldiers and wounded hundreds more in the 34-day-old war.

The Kornet has a range of 5.5 kilometers, or 3.5 miles. Hizbullah has said the Kornet missiles destroyed two advanced Israeli Merkava-4 tanks during the war in 2006. The missiles were smuggled into Lebanon from Syria.

Over two years ago, Israel discovered that Hamas also has possession of themissile. In December 2010, former IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi announced, “On December 6, a Kornet anti-tank missile fired for the first time in Gaza hit an IDF tank and penetrated its outer shell. Luckily, the missile did not explode inside the tank. We are talking about a massive missile, one of the most dangerous in the battlefield, which has already been used against the IDF in the Lebanon War.”

Hamas used the same missile to attack a school bus approximately a mile from Gaza last year, killing a student. Dozens of other children had stepped off the bus only a few minutes before the attack near Kibbutz Saad, in the western Negev.

Pentagon: Iran Continuing to Improve its Ballistic Missiles

New Pentagon report finds that Iran’s military continues to improve the accuracy and killing power of its ballistic missiles.

By Elad Benari

Iran’s military continues to improve the accuracy and killing power of its long- and short-range ballistic missiles, including designing a weapon to target vessels, according to a Pentagon report to Congress. The report was obtained and published by Bloomberg News on Tuesday.

Iran has boosted the lethality and effectiveness of existing systems by improving accuracy and developing new submunition payloads” that extend the destructive power over a wider area than a solid warhead, the June 29 report signed by U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says.

The improvements are in tandem with regular ballistic-missile training that “continues throughout the country” and the addition of “new ships and submarines,” the report found.

The report obtained by Bloomberg was provided to the four congressional defense committees last week to comply with a fiscal 2010 directive to provide an annualclassified and unclassified assessment of Iran’s military power. The unclassified version provides the latest snapshot of Iran’s so- called asymmetric capabilities designed to counter the strengths of western militaries.

The report summarizes what has been said publicly about the status of Iran’s nuclear program and its aid to Syria, the Hizbullah terror group, Hamas, and Iraqi Shiite groups. It repeats the long- standing U.S. assessment that Iran with “sufficient foreign assistance may be technically capable of flight-testing” an intercontinental ballistic missile by 2015.

Iran “would present a formidable force while defending Iranian territory,” the Pentagon said in the report. “We assess with high confidence” that over 30 years Iran “has methodically cultivated a network of sponsored terrorist surrogates capable of targeting U.S. and Israeli interests,” it said. “We suspect this activity continues.”

Iran also continues to develop ballistic missiles with range to reach regional adversaries, Israel and Eastern Europe, including an extended-range Shahab-3 and a 2,000 kilometer (1,240 mile) medium-range ballistic missile, said the report.

Iran claimed last week it tested “tens” of short, medium and large-range missiles at a hypothetical enemy base,” presumably Israeli and American.

A report on Tuesday said the Islamic Republic is copy-catting the deadly Russian Kornet anti-tank missile that Hizbullah used against Israeli soldiers in the Second Lebanon War and which Hamas used to kill a student on a school bus last year.

Quoting defense sources in London and Moscow, the Gulf News website quoted a Russian defense advisor as saying that Iran may have obtained the design for the Kornet missile from Hizbullah.

IAF aircraft attacked a terrorist cell in northern Gaza on Monday morning, as it was preparing to launch rockets at southern Israel.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement that the aircraft scored a direct hit.

“The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDFsoldiers and will continue to act decisively and strongly against anyone who uses terror against Israel,” said the IDF statement.

Despite an Egyptian-brokered “ceasefire” recently announced by Hamas, terrorists from Gaza have continued to sproadically fire rockets at southern Israel.

Last Tuesday evening, terrorists from Hamas-controlled Gaza fired a barrage of four Grad missiles at the town of Netivot.

The Iron Dome system intercepted two of the missiles, and the other two exploded in open areas. There were no physical injuries and no reports of property damage.

Israel has submitted a formal complaint to the United Nations Security Council – not the first – over the deadly rocket fire aimed at its civilians by Gaza.

The complaint condemned the incessant barrage of short and medium-range missiles launched by Palestinian Authority terrorists from the Hamas-ruled territory over the past week.

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, wrote in his letter to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that one million civilians are living under the risk of being harmed daily in the rocket attacks.

He warned the international body that inaction by the Security Council could exacerbate the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, rather than advance peace.
