The Second Reason To Firmly Believe In A Pre Trib Rapture – God’s Wrath {Video}

In Revelation 6:15-17 we learn the Tribulation is a time of God’s wrath being poured out on the “earth-dwellers.”[1]
15And the kings of the earth, the great men, £the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

382

Yet 1Thessalonians 5:9-11 we read,
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

Those who’ve been born again are not appointed to God’s wrath yet that is precisely what the Tribulation is – the hour [time-period] of God’s wrath, testing the hearts of the earth-dwellers.

God’s wrath against sin was fully satisfied in the Cross of Jesus Christ. When Jesus declared, “It is finished” He meant the holy demands of God’s justice were completely satisfied.

Jesus took our place on the Cross as the object of God’s wrath. Therefore, it would be unjust for God to inflict His wrath on us. Christians won’t be here for the Tribulation because it is the hour of God’s wrath we’ve already been saved from! :D

DOOMSDAY PREPPERS

278

(Friday Church News Notes, February 15, 2013, http://www.wayoflife.org, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – Doomsday Preppers, a television show on the National Geographic Channel that began airing in 2012, depicts the real-life stories of people who are preparing for a socio-economic cataclysm. The number of people who fall into this category is increasing, and the program is the highest-rated one in the network’s history. There is an American Preppers Network, and the building and stocking of survival shelters is a growing industry. Vivos is planning a nationwide system of underground shelters in various sizes built to support from 10 to 2,000 adults for one to five years. The shelters are co-opts which are owned by a group of people who are promised access in case of emergency. (Good luck on that!) Developer Larry Hall is constructing survivalist condos in abandoned missile silos in Kansas, and so far buyers have paid $7 million.

Atlas Survival Shelters, designed to be buried 3.5 feet underground, are available for $10,000 per person. At BePrepared.com you can buy everything you need for survival, including a year’s supply of MRE (meals ready to eat) for $4,200. At Safer America stores you can stock up on gas masks and biohazard suits. There is no doubt that we live in troublesome times as describe in Bible prophecy. The same Book that prophesied of Christ’s first coming, including the details of His crucifixion, prophesy of His second coming. It will be preceded by a period of time that Jesus called the Great Tribulation, a time far more destructive than any the world has ever witnessed, but it cannot be survived in an underground shelter.

The Bible says the Antichrist will rule for seven years with conditions growing progressively worse, longer than any shelter stockpile will last. No one will be able to buy or sell without his mark. The Antichrist is no ordinary man. He will be supported by Satan and his hoards of demons. A far better solution is to put one’s faith in Jesus Christ and be washed in His blood and serve in His great harvest field while you wait for the imminent Rapture. It’s not time to hide in a hole; it’s time to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. The reason why Christ has not yet returned is His love for souls (2 Peter 3:9). The Rapture of New Testament believers is not a fictional scenario; it is the promise of a God who cannot lie. “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief”

(1 Thessalonians 5:4).

“Doomsday, The End Of The World, You Still Here?” End Time News Update 12/20-21/12

Welcome brothers and sisters to a special addition of End Time News Daily Update Report for December 20-21, 2012 brought to you by IPREACH4CHRIST On The Rapture is Imminent End Time News Channel.
1. Doomsday, The End Of The World, You Still Here? The much-anticipated date for the end of the world is finally upon us, as predicted by the Mayans, and we’ve got the latest updates on how the globe is dealing with ‘Armageddon.’
2. It’s not the end of the world, but Mayan madness is heating up. The Maya built a 3,000-year civilization in what is presently central Mexico.
3. Tourists are flocking to the Mayan sacred site in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico on the eve of the supposed end of the world — the end of the Mayan calendar.
4. Here’s part of the Mayan calendar that supposedly runs out on 12/21/12. Experts say don’t believe it.
MORE:http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/mayan-madness-heating-article-1.1224557
5. Just some of the craziness. A Dutchman has prepared a lifeboat in his garden in the central Netherlands. The boat is capable of saving 50 people during floods brought on by the Mayan-foretold doomsday. He bought the totally enclosed lifeboat and installed a toilet, a sink and a child’s car seat inside. Some 35 people have reserved seats in the boat.
6.  Ah a sense of humor! Can you imagine seeing the Weather Channel doing that!
7.  A Chinese villager has created giant, reportedly tsunami-proof survival pods, made using a fiberglass casing over a steel frame. The cost is $48,000 each, and the pods are equipped with oxygen tanks, food and water supplies. They also come with seat belts, which is essential for riding out storms. 8. And Superstitious Russians take to Cold War bunker for Mayan end of the world. The bunker, in southwestern Moscow, was built in the 1940s by order of Joseph Stalin and was outfitted about two decades later to endure nuclear war. In one compartment of the bunker, guests will have the option to attend a “survival event,” at which more than 300 people will be given water and “special food packages,” including catered food and enough canned goods to last six months. Tickets for the survival event run 30,000 rubles about $1000 each. MORE:http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/superstitious-russians-cold-war-bunkers-mayan-apocalypse-article-1.1223861
9. Even the President of Russia is getting in a few words about Doomsday. As frenzied doomsayers around the world prepare for the apocalypse on December, 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin put his trust in science, saying at a yearly Q&A that the earth won’t end for another 4.5 billion years, when the sun goes out.

Brothers & sisters December 21, 2012 will be like any other day, if it was the End of the World the Bible would have told us so. That is what we should judge this type of hype against. Bible prophecy is 100 per cent accurate because it is God’s Word. Nothing else written by man can claim that degree of accuracy.
I shall give another End Time News Update Report on Saturday December 22, 2012 because I will still be here and so will you unless our Lord and Savior comes to take us home. Maranatha! The Lord Cometh!

Why Are Preppers Hated So Much?

Have you noticed that it has become trendy to bash preppers?  For a long time the prepper movement was ignored, but now it has become so large that it is getting very difficult for the mainstream media to pretend that it is not there.  In fact, it has been estimated that there are now approximately 3 million preppers in the United States alone.  So now the mainstream media has decided that mocking the movement is the best strategy, and lots of “critics” and “skeptics” out there have picked up on this trend.  Instead of addressing the very real issues that have caused millions of Americans to prepare for the worst, those criticizing the prepper movement attempt to put the focus on individual personalities.  They try to find the strangest nutjobs they possibly can and then hold them up as “typical preppers”.  The goal is to portray preppers as tinfoil hat wearing freaks that need to be locked up in the loony bin for their own personal safety and for the good of society.  The criticism of preppers has really ramped up in recent months, and it will likely get even worse in 2013.  The establishment does not like any movement that is outside of their control, and the prepper movement is definitely not under their control.

Often, hit pieces on the prepper movement are disguised as articles or shows that are supposed to be “balanced” looks at the movement.  This is especially true of shows such as “Doomsday Preppers“.  That show is the highest rated show that the National Geographic channel has ever had, and it can be a lot of fun to watch.  But if you notice carefully, they almost always try to feature people that they consider to be “freaks” or that are “on the fringe of society”.  Many other “reality shows” follow the exact same recipe.  The goal is to draw high ratings by running a “freak show” that people can’t help but watch.

Even if you go on such a show and try to do your best to explain your prepping in a rational and coherent manner, they will still edit the footage so that it makes you look like a freak.  It really is a no-win proposition.  These shows are trying to make it clear that preppers should be mocked.  The underlying implication is that these people are crazy and that what they are doing is stupid.

And at the end of each segment, the producers of the show are careful to include reasons why the prepper that was just featured is being irrational and why the things they are preparing for are extremely unlikely to happen.  Just in case you missed the message they have been trying to communicate the entire time, they come right out and tell you the conclusion that you are supposed to come to.

And of course we see the same attitudes reflected in reviews of the show.  For example, the following is from a recent Los Angeles Times review of the new season of Doomsday Preppers…

Still, it’s hard not to feel for young Jason from tiny Plato, Mo. (pop. 109), who is awaiting worldwide financial collapse with his homemade, nail-studded “mace-ball bat,” and that his is a life on the verge of going completely wrong. “I’m not afraid to have to kill,” Jason says, in his camouflage pants and dog tag, and there seems to be no question in his mind that it will come to that. (“Jason has always been a worrywart,” says his mother.)

Or for Big Al, from Nashville, who is getting ready for old-school nuclear war by digging down into the earth and surrounding himself with steel. (“I prefer not to use the term ‘bunker’ — to me, it’s an underground house.”) He spends months at a time by himself down there, training for the inevitable — which he expects to weather alone — cooking different combinations of canned goods and, you know, spending too much time alone. One leg pumps constantly as he talks.

The preppers don’t want my pity, of course — quite the opposite, I’m sure. The joke will be on me, they would say, when I am expiring from fallout or smallpox, being carried away in a tornado or torn apart by the hungry ravaging hordes. (I am not even prepared for the Big Earthquake that might more probably get me.)

Would this Los Angeles Times reporter mock other groups of Americans in a similar manner?

Probably not.

But the establishment has made it clear that it is open season on preppers, so this particular writer mocks them with no fear.

Not that any prepper that is thinking clearly would go on a show such as “Doomsday Preppers” anyway.  Sure, it is nice to be on television, but if you are a serious prepper then one of the last things you want to do is to go on television and advertise your preparations to millions of people.

Others have picked up on the contempt that the establishment has for preppers and have started to issue their own critiques of the movement.  For example, an “emergency manager” named Valerie Lucus-McEwen recently published a blog post entitled “Doomsday Preppers are Socially Selfish” that got a lot of attention…

You might wonder why someone like me, who has been in the business of encouraging disaster preparedness for a very long time, is so critical of people who are doing just that. It’s because they are being socially selfish – preparing themselves and the hell with everyone else.  Instead of spending time and energy making changes that would benefit the larger community, in their very narrow focus of loyalty they are more concerned about themselves.

Emergency Managers can’t afford that kind of attitude.  It is diametrically opposed to everything we do. Our job is to prepare individuals and communities and jurisdictions and regions and – ultimately – the globe for disasters, knowing we won’t always succeed.

She followed up that venomous attack with another blog post in which she declared the following…

Selfish is defined as concerned excessively or exclusively with oneself, seeking or concentrating on one’s own advantage or well being without regard for others. By that definition, Doomsday Preppers are socially selfish – Disaster Preppers are not.

Subsequently, she has issued a very brief apology, but what she wrote is very typical of the type of thinking that is out there these days.  Anyone that does not “trust the government” and attempts to become “self-sufficient” is actually very “selfish” and is not “being a good citizen”.

And sadly, it appears that being a “prepper” is now enough to get special attention from the authorities.  For example, a 46-year-old prepper in rural Maryland named Terry Porter recently had his home raided by 150 armed law enforcement officers.  The details of this incident were described in a recent article by Paul Joseph Watson

According to a charging document filed in Washington County District Court, Porter “openly admitted to being a prepper” (as if this was an illegal act in and of itself) and said that he was “very irritated” about the recent presidential election. Porter had also invested in an underground bomb shelter and had installed surveillance cameras on his property.

Once the investigation into Porter began, police discovered that he had a 1992 felony drug conviction and was therefore barred from owning firearms. On Thursday last week, no less than 150 armed and militarized police and FBI agents in the guise of tactical assault teams descended on Porter’s house as if they were confronting a terrorist cell. The raid also included helicopters, SWAT crews, armored vehicles and even excavation equipment.

Porter was absent at the time of the raid but turned himself in the next morning at Hagerstown Barrack.

After the raid, the claim that Porter was stockpiling “10-15 machine gun-style firearms” was demolished when police uncovered “four shotguns, a .30-30-caliber rifle and two .22-caliber rifles,” hardly a deadly mass arsenal.

Would 150 officers have shown up at his home if he had not been identified as a “prepper”?

Of course not.

But “preppers” have been labeled as “dangerous” and “crazy” and that is the way that law enforcement authorities now treat them.

So why are preppers hated so much?

It is because they are a direct challenge to the status quo.  Just by prepping, preppers are proclaiming that they do not have faith in the system.  But most people have complete and total faith in the system, and many of them do not like to have that faith questioned.  As I have written about in other articles, polling has found that most Americans expect that the government will take care of them if disaster strikes.  Most people have been trained to “trust the experts” and to “trust the government” all of their lives, and that conditioning can be very difficult to overcome.

This blind faith in the system is a big reason why so many Americans have not made any preparations at all.  In fact, one recent poll discovered that most Americans do not even have three days worth of food in their homes…

A recent survey found that 55 percent of Americans have less than three days supply of food in their homes. Many people have no emergency supplies, or even a first aid kit.

That absolutely astounds me.

Another poll discovered that 64 percent of all Americans are “unprepared for a major natural disaster”.

So what is going to happen to them if something even worse than a major natural disaster hits?

For example, what if the electrical grid went down and we had no more power for an extended period of time?

Well, one survey found that 21 percent of all Americans believe that they would survive for less than a week, and an additional 28 percent of all Americans believe that they would survive for less than two weeks.  Close to 75 percent of all Americans said that they would be dead before the two month mark.

So I guess we sure had better hope and pray that nothing goes seriously wrong, eh?

The truth is that it isn’t the preppers that are crazy.

Rather, it is the people that believe that everything will always be fine and that the government will always take care of them that are crazy.

Our world is becoming increasingly unstable, and now is the time to get prepared.

You may get mocked a bit for prepping now, but later on you sure will be glad that you prepared for the worst.

Preparedness

By Ron Graham

“The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;” Proverbs 30:25. I’ve received a few inquiries in recent months as to whether Christians should store up food and supplies and buy gold and silver all in anticipation of what they see coming on the horizon. The answer is yes and no. If you see a benefit in storing up for the winter as the ants do, then by all means do so.  Catastrophic storms, such as just occurred along the east coast of the US, would be cause for preparedness. Weather anomalies happen quite frequently these days and in such cases a safety net of a full pantry, in case stores run out of goods, doesn’t mean we’re being unfaithful, but practical. If you have a savings account on hand, just in case of an emergency, that too can be a good thing. But attempting to store up in anticipation of what the Bible clearly states will occur in the last days prior to Christ’s return is folly.

Here’s an example of being prepared for common disruptions. The pump in our water well went out recently and we had to have it replaced. We had no water until the new pump was installed. We went to the store and purchased as much water as we could get in our car. The pump was installed the next day and we ended up using very little of the water we purchased. God provided the funds to purchase the new pump and the well drilling company was very efficient and timely. We hardly felt the effects of no water. We had relied on God to provide the funds as we abide in Him, and He did. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7. God made a promise to the faithful that He would provide for our needs. God never breaks His promises. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.

How about storing up for what God tells us is coming in the last days, and which the signs of the times point to as imminent? We cannot store enough of anything to last through what’s coming. The big question is why would we even attempt such foolishness? I received an email from a person in South Korea asking about storing up supplies of food as well as other commodities. My answer to this person was that storing up supplies in an attempt to stave off the rising cost of those things would certainly be a benefit, short term yes, but still a benefit. But being prepared for what the Bible tells us is coming in the last days is something else altogether. It’s never a bad idea to have extra supplies food, water, even medical supplies on hand in case there’s an emergency. When we lose power here at the Graham residence we have a generator to produce enough power to run our refrigerator and a few other essentials. But when the last days arrive, gas to run generators will be nonexistent. In a very small way, what we see occurring in some communities on the east coast of the US is an example of what life on earth will be like without power, or fuel for generators, or food and water.

Storing up commodities to stave off the approaching catastrophic end times may seem beneficial to many people, but nothing will suffice; all commodities will run out long before those times reach their zenith. Nothing can be done for those in that situation. Oh sure, governments may build huge underground bunkers with enough stored food and other supplies to support a few privileged people for an extended period of time, but average citizens don’t have the resources of those governments. Even if we did the terrible times that are coming will not exclude anyone who remains here during the Great Tribulation. No one will be able to hide from God in a bunker.

What God tells us in His word is coming will affect everyone on earth; it will not be partitioned off by the haves and the have not’s. The suffering will be worldwide and no matter what you think you can do to prepare yourself there is only one sure and effective way to be prepared for what’s coming, and it doesn’t include storing food, water, or munitions.

Jesus gave us a heads up of what’s to be expected during the last days of planet earth. He did so not merely to afford an answer to His disciples who were pressing Him for details concerning the last days and His return, but to enlighten everyone who would hear and heed His words. There’s a decision to be made, and many have already made it to their own detriment.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7. We have no cause to fear what’s coming. We have not been given the spirit of fear, but we have been given power and a sound mind. Storing up years worth of supplies for what the Bible plainly explains is coming shows a lack of faith in the One who has told us over and over again to fear not. Why would God tell us to fear not and then place us in the precarious position where fear becomes overwhelming? The only people who should be fearful are those who have abandoned God, they are those who will remain on earth, after the followers of Jesus Christ have been removed, and they will be forced to endure or perish.

My wife, daughter, and I have a pantry. We try to keep it well stocked. We do this because it is costly to run into town to buy groceries every day or so. It’s an eighteen mile trip into town and back to our home. There are good reasons to have a few extra items on hand, and each time we go to town we buy extra so the need to return to the store is not so pressing. This concept is just common sense (a sound mind).

Preparing for the inevitable is not difficult. Your Bible tells you what’s coming in the last days and clearly the prelude to those days has arrived. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to evaluate and discern the times. Humanity has been given all the information it needs to avoid a most horrible end. Spiritual preparations should be underway as the Gospel of peace is being preached around this world. The Ekklesia of Christ is given the task to spread the Gospel, not to store food and other commodities in preparation for the last days here on earth. Knowing Jesus Christ is the only preparedness anyone need undertake.

“And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.” Luke 21:16. People will turn on one another, and that includes family members. There will be full disruptions in all the norms of the day. There are indescribably horrible times coming upon the earth. “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Luke 21:26. Everything we currently take for granted will cease to be available. Normal flows of commodities, what it takes to live from day to day, will be nonexistent. All the current amenities that so many people enjoy and have grown accustomed to, even dependent upon, will no longer be available. There will be famine in every land (divers places). This will drive the average Joe to commit the most heinous of crimes against his brother. The sickness that will ensue will not be tolerable; many will perish in extreme agony.

So, you’ve made up your mind to accumulate a year or two worth of supplies in order to stave off the coming cataclysmic end times. Well, it just so happens that you are going to need another 4 or 5 years worth of supplies once your current supply is gone. Where on earth are you going to go to make your purchase of those supplies? There will be nothing to buy and you haven’t even reached the beginning point of the real bad times. “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” Revelation 6:6. What this verse is saying in today’s vernacular is in those days a scrap of bread will buy a bag of gold. All that gold and silver you’re currently hoarding will be useless. Who is going to sell you a piece of bread for a bag of gold when they themselves are perishing due to their own hunger?

The children of God have no need to seek solace in what they can store up in anticipation of the end catastrophic times. We won’t be here. “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Revelation 3:10. God has promised to extract His Children from off the face of the earth prior to those final seven years. While the Christ rejecters try and fend for themselves in a world gone completely into disarray and decay, the rest of us will be enjoying the promises of God – in Heaven.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1. Our preparedness began in our hearts when we said yes to Jesus Christ. That profession of faith is our hope. At the point when we first believed we became Christ’s property. “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:13-14. Christ’s peculiar people are His possession.

“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10. Christ’s Ekklesia has nothing to fear from the coming wrath. We will be spared from His wrath which will be poured out on the children of disobedience during the Great Tribulation. The Christ rejecters have much to fear. “For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:” Colossians 3:6.

All the extreme measures of preparedness that I read about on blogs and some news sites everyday will do nothing to stave off the approaching last days doom and gloom. For those who’ve chosen to reject Christ it’s their lot to bear.

For those of you who don’t know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, this last paragraph is intended for you. Jesus Christ is the answer to being prepared. He alone will provide you with the peace you so desire. Tap into His promises and forget the foolishness of the self-preparedness crowd. Become the property of Jesus Christ by saying yes to Him, and you will have accepted His free gift of salvation. When you do this simple thing, everlasting life is yours. Then watch out, because in that moment you will be changed into a child of God. Everything will be different after that. Instead of storing up treasures on earth you’ll be passing out your earthly surplus to the needy as you store up treasures for yourself in Heaven.

God bless you all,

Ron Graham

Doomsday Ready? More Americans Becoming ‘Preppers’

When an unexpected summer storm knocked out power across the mid-Atlantic region in July, more than 4 million people went without power for up to two weeks.

Throughout the summer, a severe drought across much of the country also put a serious strain on the nation’s infrastructure.

Couple that with the threat of a currency collapse, civil unrest, and other nightmare scenarios – stocking up for the unexpected is looking smarter all the time.

Now, a small but growing segment of society is asking the question, “What happens when the lights go out for more than just a few days?”

Many of these “preppers” think the recent record-setting blackout could be just a preview of things to come.

Keith Iton is a die hard prepper and has started a business to help others get ready as well.

“The biggest problem we suffer here in North America is complacency,” he claimed.

“People figure since nothing has happened in ‘x’ amount of years, nothing bad will ever happen,” Iton continued. “So they get comfortable, and they get lazy and then unpreparedness comes in. Then you have other people who look at history.”

From ‘Crazy’ to Common

Survivalists are sometimes seen as wild eyed, crazy people waiting for the ‘zombie apocalypse.’ But with the state of the economy in today’s world, being prepared is more popular than ever.

Recently, some 2,000 people gathered in North Carolina for the the Carolina Readiness Seminar to discuss the risks and what can be done about them.

“It’s very environmental, very green, takes us off of fossil fuels, and [is] very easy to do,” prepper Joel Henderson said.

Henderson is co-owner of Green Gold Filters, one of the vendors at the recent convention. His patented filtration system is helping people accomplish something that America has been trying to do for years — run a vehicle without foreign oil.

“If anybody has a diesel engine, truck, tractor, or generator, you can use used cooking oil as an alternative diesel fuel, or motor oil,” Henderson explained.

“If you go to the restaurants, this is a local restaurant here in Nashville, an Indian restaurant, this is their used cooking oil they were throwing away,” he continued. “We picked it up, ran it through our filter system, and now we have a nice alternative diesel fuel that I’ll put right in my tank.”

‘Doomsday Preppers’

The prepper movement is being helped along by a new trend in television shows about the subject. The most popular is National Geographic’s “Doomsday Preppers.”

“‘Doomsday Preppers’ is the highest rated show right now ever on National Geographic,” casting director Brooklyn Bagwell said.

“It’s a show about your average American family, unique people who are prepping for any of life’s uncertainties, whether that be economic collapse to solar flare in 2012. No matter what it is they’re going to be prepared,” he added.

One of the challenges for the show is that most preppers aren’t eager to advertise their stockpiles of supplies, since if the bottom drops out, looting could be a real problem.

“We do understand it could be a risk, but we do respect privacy on the show. We don’t have to say your first name or last name or where you’re from,” Bagwell said.

“We try to get in the lives of many diverse preppers, and have each prepper give a take away to our viewers so they can learn more about prepping,” he said.

Prepare with God

Iton said the first step to being prepared, however, has nothing to do with canned food or bottled water.

“Your first step to preparedness, for me personally, is your relationship with Jesus Christ,” he explained. “If you build a solid relationship with Jesus Christ, then you are more prepared than the average Joe.”

“Then after that, if you can get a little food, water stored away, a little safe retreat, it’ll all fall into place,” Iton said. “You want to be able to feed yourself, feed your family, help a neighbor, help a friend.”

A hundred years ago, having extra supplies in the house was considered completely normal. But that has changed.

A recent survey found that 55 percent of Americans have less than three days supply of food in their homes. Many people have no emergency supplies, or even a first aid kit.

But with America’s infrastructure becoming more fragile every day, preppers say it’s a good idea to stock up, just in case.

The Apocalyptic End of the World – at the Movies.

June 17, 2012 – Apocalyptic Movies: These are anxious times. We need adoomsday we can believe in. Pictured below, Disaster spectacles like “The Day After Tomorrow” (2004) have taken a backseat to smaller-scale apocalyptic stories.

Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice,” Robert Frost wrote nearly a hundred years ago, but for moviegoers of the 21st century both the giant conflagration and the big freeze have become a bit “been there, done that.”

Of course the world has been ending, in one way or another, ever since the movies began, but this fresh crop of cinematic apocalypses really does represent something new. Our 21st-century vision of Earth’s doom is, it seems, almost entirely inward looking. Not only are the scientists missing from these pictures, but the political, military and religious leaders — all of whom had their parts to play in the pre-apocalyptic dramas of old — are conspicuous by their absence too. The disillusionment with institutions that might once have provided some hope of salvation, or at least a little reassurance, is sweeping, universal, absolute. We’re on our own. Pictured below, Kirsten Dunst in “Melancholia” (2011).

If you’re going to make a movie about the end of everything, it’s appropriate to search for some kind of meaning. That’s easier to do when the fear is very specific, as it was in the age of nuclear proliferation. Today’s dread is a good deal more amorphous, a gathering cloud of unease about shaky economies, dysfunctional institutions, climate change: The skies are thick with ill omen. (And don’t forget the zombies.) What’s wrong with the world, and what might end it, and why, are tougher questions these days. The planet’s just in a foul, foul mood, and the meds don’t seem to be working.

Big-budget disaster pictures, even when fitted out with an apparently high-minded message, mostly traffic in a queasy sort of cosmic Schadenfreude; the post-apocalyptic wasteland movies too often mistake bleakness for truth. And the new waiting-for-the-end movies, skillful as some of them are, feel peculiarly evasive; a wholly personalized apocalypse is an apocalypse that is, to put it plainly, too damn small. Here in 2012 our heads may all be exploding — or icing over — with doubt, confusion, free-floating anxiety, but hey: it’s not the end of the world. ARMAGEDDON A SPACE WAR COMING TO YOU SOON

The United States and Russia have massive stockpiles of thermonuclear weapons and nuclear missiles that could destroy the world many times over. At some point in the near future, Israel and the U.S. will be involved in some kind of military action against Iran. Syria is a key battlefield and the NATO leaders, who met in Chicago recently, have a regime changeplanned for Syria.

However, Russia and China will not stand idly by and the world is on the brink of a thermonuclear confrontation. If World War III erupts, the battlefield will be expanded to outer space.Armageddon could well be fought in the valley of Megiddo and the moon. In my new DVD, “Moon into Blood,” I talk about the new spaced-based weapons technology being used by America, China and Russia.

During the Battle of Armageddon, all the military of the earth will center at the valley of Megiddo, known in Aramaic as Armageddon, which is located in Northern Israel. Revelation 16:16 declares, “And He gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” In Daniel 11:40-45, the invading armies, in revolt against the one world government ruled by the Antichrist, will be spread out throughout the land of Israel, which will be about 200 miles from north to south. This will extend from the Mediterranean Sea on the west all the way to the Euphrates River to the east. It appears massive of armies will come across the Euphrates River from the east. Many of these armies will come from the “Kings of the East,” which could refer to China, Japan and Korea. Currently, Russia and China are engaged in a military partnership and China is aggressively building up its military.

These armies will engage in a war for global supremacy against the ruler of a one world governmentinstalled by the Revived Roman Empire, which will consist of many of the European nations of the original Roman Empire and most likely the Transatlantic Union with the United States. In 1939, the Streit Council, named after Clarence K. Streit, wrote a book entitled, “Union Now,” which called for the creation of a Transatlantic Union as a step toward world government. The same international banking and political groups which put together the European Union incrementally, formed this new federation, with an international constitution, which was to include the 15 democracies of the U.S., UK, France, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and South Africa. NATO, the World Bank, the IMF and the Bilderberg Group are all involved in forming this one world government and one world economic system.

However, the Bible predicts that a powerful world charismatic leader will seize control of this one world government with the help of the False Prophet who will usher in a one world religion and one world economic system that will incorporate mark of the beast technology. It is interesting how current events are now running parallel to ancient Biblical prophecies that were written down thousands of years ago. It is also interesting that in Revelation 13:13, it says of the False Prophet:

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on earth in the sight of men.”

Although this passage does not lend itself to one conclusive interpretation, it does open the door for several possibilities. The fire that comes down from heaven could be some kind of space-based weapon. Secondly, it is within the realm of possibility that this space-based weapon is connected to a supernatural alien invasion from outer space, another dimension or a sophisticated technological illusion, produced by an Operation Blue Beam technology. Allegedly, the late rocket scientist Werner von Braun, warned his assistant Dr. Carol Rosin, about a technological illusion concerning an alien invasion to justify over a trillion dollars of spending in a space based weapons program.

The problem with that alleged concern is that a manufactured alien invasion is not necessary to justify such expenditures because Russia, China and the U.S. are already preparing for space-based wars.

It is highly likely that the Battle of Armageddon will involve space-based weapons programs that can land some kind of mobile infantry from an orbiting manned space vehicle, fire nukes at the earth from satellites and potentially expand the conventional military theatre to bases on the Moon and Mars. In addition, in Revelation 13:14-15 it says:

“And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

These verses indicate a counterfeit resurrection of the Antichrist. What is this image of the beast that can speak? Although, a conclusive analysis cannot be made, it seems to suggest the utilization of cloning and the technology of transhumanism, or an Android body that is part biological. The memories, mind and consciousness of the Antichrist could be downloaded into the new body. This is no longer in the realm of science fiction. Military laboratories around the world are experimenting and developing these new transhumanist technologies, along with interspecies breeding.

The possibility of space-based weapons along with Androids and transhumanism is now possible in the near future. Scientists who specialize in the creation of a post-human species, based on the science of transhumanism, are projecting a quantum leap in the creation of supermen. The Bible speaks repeatedly about sons of God mating with human women. The sons of God are fallen angels and some people believe they are aliens. The product of this interspecies breeding between fallen angels and human women produces the Nephilim. Jesus Christ specifically said, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” Luke 17:26

The idea is that the primary sin of mankind just prior to the Flood of Noah was not just violence and wickedness, but the interspecies breeding of fallen angels and human women that produced the Nephilim. This is important because modern science is grasping for an alternative or modification to Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. The ancient astronaut theory that the earth was seeded by aliens is a growing counter theory to random chance evolution. The movie “Prometheus” hints of this theory.

What many people do not understand is that Bible prophecy anticipates this change with one important modification. The modification is that the aliens come from another dimension and not from other worlds. The Bible predicts a supernatural and natural conflict in the Middle East at Armageddon. Space-based weapons and Nephilim could play a role in this conflict.

In a interview with the Paris Review by Sam Weller, entitled, “Ray Bradbury, The Art of Fiction No. 203, the late science fiction author Ray Bradbury, author of “Fahrenheit 451” and the “Martian Chronicles,” answered the question of whether science fiction was important. Bradbury said, “Yes, it is, because the mainstream hasn’t been paying attention to all the changes in our culture during the last fifty years. The major ideas of our time—developments in medicine, the importance of space exploration to advance our species—have been neglected. The critics are generally wrong, or they’re fifteen, twenty years late. It’s a great shame. They miss out on a lot.

Why the fiction of ideas should be so neglected is beyond me. I can’t explain it, except in terms of intellectual snobbery.” Ray Bradbury was trying to explain that most people in our society, including the leaders, really do not understand what is happening because they are about 15-25 years behind the time when it comes to understanding where science has now taken us. The space-based weapons and transhumanist technologies that I discuss in this article are not in the realm of science fiction. In many cases these are existing technologies or technologies that will emerge in the very near future.

War, famine, strife, extinction: scientists warn planet approaching a ‘tipping point’ of an apocalyptic nature

June 6, 2012 – EARTH – Earth is rapidly headed toward a catastrophic breakdown if humans don’t get their act together, according to an international group of scientists. Writing Wednesday (June 6) in the journal Nature, the researchers warn that the world is headed toward a tipping point marked by extinctions and unpredictable changes on a scale not seen since the glaciers retreated 12,000 years ago. “There is a very high possibility that by the end of the century, the Earth is going to be a very different place,” study researcher Anthony Barnosky told LiveScience. Barnosky, a professor of integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley, joined a group of 17 other scientists to warn that this new planet might not be a pleasant place to live. “You can envision these state changes as a fast period of adjustment where we get pushed through the eye of the needle,” Barnosky said. “As we’re going through the eye of the needle, that’s when we see political strife, economic strife, war and famine.” Barnosky and his colleagues reviewed research on climate change, ecology and Earth’s tipping points that break the camel’s back, so to speak. At certain thresholds, putting more pressure on the environment leads to a point of no return, Barnosky said. Suddenly, the planet responds in unpredictable ways, triggering major global transitions. The most recent example of one of these transitions is the end of the last glacial period. Within not much more than 3,000 years, the Earth went from being 30 percent covered in ice to its present, nearly ice-free condition. Most extinctions and ecological changes (goodbye, woolly mammoths) occurred in just 1,600 years. Earth’s biodiversity still has not recovered to what it was. Today, Barnosky said, humans are causing changes even faster than the natural ones that pushed back the glaciers — and the changes are bigger. Driven by a 35 percent increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide since the start of the Industrial Revolution, global temperatures are rising faster than they did back then, Barnosky said. Likewise, humans have completely transformed 43 percent of Earth’s land surface for cities and agriculture, compared with the 30 percent land surface transition that occurred at the end of the last glacial period. Meanwhile, the human population has exploded, putting ever more pressure on existing resources. -MSNBC
