THE RAPTURE AND THE OIL OF THE HOLY GHOST

WHY DO WE TAKE JESUS’ WORDS ABOUT THE FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS SO LIGHTLY? It is foolish for us to be so careless about the great “Catching Away” that may happen before this broadcast is over or before you read these words. Let’s not talk about those we consider unprepared, but about those the Bible leaves no question whom are ready. The Bible is a perfect book and the Lord is speaking excitedly about His Bride.

Here are things Jesus and the Bible says about His Bride being ready to go when he comes:

1. Jesus said the Wise Virgins had oil in their vessel, and fire in their lamps. “Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 25:7-13)

2. Malachi called her His “jewels.” “And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.” (Malachi 3:17)

3. Isaiah says, “She comes out of the grave singing. “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” (Isaiah 26:19)

4. John the Revelator called her “overcomers” seven times. (Revelation Chapters 2 and 3)

5. Jesus said to His Bride, “Thou hast kept the word of my patience.” “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)

6. Peter said of the Bride, “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” (II Peter 3:12)

7. Apostle Paul said, “unto them that look for Him shall He appear…” (Hebrews 9:28)

8. Again Apostle Paul said, “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:27)

9. Jesus said, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (St. Luke 21:36)

You can write it down in your heart that these dedicated Saints described above will go with Him in the twinkling of an eye. Why should anyone buy into the lazy theology of today’s church world, when the promises are so wonderful? The Marriage Supper is the grand celebration of the Lord of His Church and his Bride in waiting. A beautiful wedding is a grand occasion, when a couple is utterly in love and marrying for keeps. Jesus honored a wedding with His first miracle. He turned the water into wine to add the supernatural to the natural.

The Psalmist David described the “Marriage Supper,” in the grandest of fashions. He called it a “Good Matter” and spoke of the Bride in breathtaking terms. “My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.” (Psalms 45:1-2) He even described the bridegroom, the Christ, in His lofty position at the Father’s Right Hand. “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” (Psalms 45:6-7) The Bride at this heavenly wedding is no cheap matter. She is beautiful, pure and consumed with love for her suitor. “All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.” (Psalms 45:8-9) David was writing perfect truth by the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

The great Kingdom story of Matthew Chapter 25, speaks clearly of the “Marriage Supper,” and there is only one such event. The wise virgins were not just virgins, but devoted members of the bride in waiting. There was no sense of an immediate summons, yet this company of saints were just as careful to be ready as if they had heard the cry. Because they were living in expectancy, they did not rest without ample oil for their vessels. No one could have convinced them that that very night might not be the time they would hear, “The Bridegroom cometh.” They could not sleep without an extra supply of oil.

God’s Holy Ghost, is the Spirit of Truth and He said, “They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.” (St. Matthew 25:3-9) Such language should build a fire in every soul.

We see John’s Vision of this event in the Book of Revelation. “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Revelation 19:6-10) The Marriage of the lamb should be a passion in the hearts of every saint of God.

This is the company of the Blood washed Saints that the splendor of “New Jerusalem” is prepared to welcome. The ultimate reward of Jesus Christ is for His Bride. These are the Blood washed and Cross-bearing that forsake everything and everyone to follow the Lord only. There is no sacrifice too great to win this ultimate prize. The Bridegroom will withhold no honor to heap on His Bride. The city of their dwelling is too priceless to value. The invitation has been extended and you can claim the prize if you are willing to surrender.

In September of 2011, members of the Canadian government put their signatures to a document called “The Ottawa Protocol to Combat Anti-Semitism.” At the signing ceremony, a member of the Canadian parliament, Professor Irwin Cotler remarked, “Anti-Semitism is not only the longest known form of hatred in the history of humanity, it is the only form of hatred that is truly global.”

Prime Minister Stephen Harper noted, “Those who would hate and destroy the Jewish people would ultimately hate and destroy the rest of us as well.”

Prime Minister Harper’s implication is clear. Those who would destroy the Jews, then destroy the rest of us as well, are evil. Or, at least, driven by evil. That’s why God Himself deemed it necessary to publicly promise to curse those who curse or harm His chosen people. Conversely, He also publicly promised to bless those who bless or protect and benefit the Jews.

Now, before you dismiss these words as the ravings of a lunatic “Christian Zionist,” let me remind you of something you may have overlooked or forgotten. Maybe you’ve never even heard this. After the believing Church has been raptured from this earth and the time of great Tribulation has fallen upon the world, Jesus Christ will return to the earth in His promised Second Coming. After saving the Jews and the world from utter destruction, He will then sit in judgment.

Did you know that the criteria He will use to judge those Gentiles who stand before Him (the Jews will be judged separately) will be how they treated His people during the time of Tribulation? Matthew 25 describes what will happen.

And you thought the cry of “anti-Semitism” was like the young shepherd boy crying “Wolf?” Not so. Anti-Semitism then and now is very important to God.

We are witnessing an explosion of anti-Semitic incidents across the world, from the Muslim enclaves of Europe to the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrations here in America. Even the current Administration displays a disturbing attitude of anti-Semitism — practiced by prominent officials even if not openly espoused. And Bible prophecy tells us that it will only increase as we approach the end of this Age.

Folks, if this tells us one thing for certain, it’s this: How we treat the Jews and the Jewish nation is serious business.

Tune in this week and I’ll discuss all of this in greater detail.

FRIDAY CHURCH NEWS NOTES By Dr. David Cloud SEPTEMBER 28, 2012

This week on ‘The Hal Lindsey Report’ September 28th, 2012

Well over two weeks into the manufactured chaos that finally reveals the true nature of the “Arab Spring,” the US administration is now grudgingly beginning to admit what everyone else has known all along: the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was a terrorist act. It was not a spontaneous mob reaction to a movie promo. The President himself finally admitted as much, but it took the girls of “The View” to coax it out of him. The mainstream media was apparently incapable of doing so.

Fortunately for America, though the President didn’t have time in his busy schedule to meet one on one with any other world leader at the opening of the United Nations General Assembly this week, he did have time to sit on the couch at “The View” and do a little dishing! Otherwise, how would we have known that he no longer thinks it was a mob of insulted Muslims who spontaneously converged at the consulate in Benghazi with heavy weapons, mortars, and rocket-propelled grenade launchers to wage a 12-hour gun battle that resulted in the deaths of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other embassy personnel. And all because they were angry over a 13-minute movie promo that’s been on YouTube for several months.

That’s precisely what every government spokesperson from the President on down has been saying for two weeks. And they’ve been doing it with disturbingly straight faces. I’m hoping they were simply trying to stonewall the issue to cover up massive foreign policy failures, because if they really believe what they’ve been saying, then we’re in deep trouble, folks.

But even though the President did do a little backtracking on “The View,” when he got to the United Nations for his speech, he spent about five minutes apologizing for and condemning the cheesy, amateurish video promo that’s being used across the Muslim world as a pretext for anti-Western violence. On the other hand, he devoted all of about 90 seconds to al-Qaeda and the jihadists who perpetrated the attack. He completely missed the opportunity for a “teachable moment” in which he could have defended free speech and explained to the gathered nations that in real democracies, we tolerate freedom of opinion and expression.

I think the most obvious lesson we can learn from the events unfolding across the Middle East is that it accomplishes nothing to apologize to or attempt to appease Islam. In spite of all the apologies and all the expressions of disgust, American flags are burning around the world.

Another danger that is quickly taking shape because of this wave of September violence, is the elevation of Islam as the only world religion that cannot be criticized. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that this is happening because governments and leaders are afraid of Muslims. And why shouldn’t they be? Say the wrong thing and your embassy goes up in flames or you have to go into hiding with a fatwa hanging over you. I’m certainly thankful that Islam is, as they claim, a religion of “peace, love, and tolerance,” or we’d really be in trouble!

You know, if we Christians took a page out of the Koranic playbook, the world would really be in for it. When I think about some of the truly blasphemous works of “art” that have been proudly foisted on the American public, like “The Last Temptation of Christ,” Christ in a jar of urine, the elephant dung Virgin Mary, or “The Da Vinci Code,” Christians could manufacture a pretty good excuse to wreak some major havoc and do some really dramatic rioting. Fortunately for the world, Christianity really is a religion of peace, love, and tolerance!

I’m guessing that by now you’re getting an idea of what this week’s show is about.

However, I want to warn you that what’s happening across the world today is only the beginning. I’ll discuss this more on future programs, but there is a massive effort underway to criminalize criticism of Islam. Not Christianity or Judaism or Hinduism or Buddhism, just Islam. And the concerted international campaign, which is part of a ten-year plan, is getting frighteningly close to realization. In fact, resolutions have been passed by United Nations agencies to this effect. And our State Department seems to be signing on to them. Folks, that will be a game-changer. Once that happens… well, you can only guess.

Look around you. See how rapidly conditions are developing precisely as predicted by the ancient prophets. It’s almost over, folks. Literally, at any moment we could hear our Lord Jesus shout, “Come up here!” and we’ll be gone. Don’t put off accepting the gift of pardon for sin that He purchased by His death on Calvary. Accept His atoning sacrifice today and become a part of God’s forever family. Trust me, you’ll be eternally glad you did.

Names Bible Code: Adam to Jesus

Published by

The meanings of all 80 names from Adam to Jesus, when read sequentially, reveal a secret code. A bible prophecy of epic proportions. (Short version.)

Famous biblical persons such as Adam, Cain, Seth, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his 12 sons, all have the meaning of their name explicitly rendered in the bible. Their names tell the story of how or why they were born.

There have been attempts to string together the first 10 names of the genealogy in the bible from Adam to Noah. This is what the first 10 names of the bible read when the meaning of each name is given in the same order found in the bible.

“The God-man is appointed, a mortal man of sorrow is born! The Glory of God shall come down and teach that His (own) death shall bring the grieving comfort and rest.”

As we shall see, this amazing bible code continues to read in this very same way, except using all 80 names in the genealogy of Jesus!

Perhaps the “Names Bible Code” is God’s response to the erroneous “Da Vinci Code”; both “codes” being released to the public about the same time, both claim to be a revelation into the lineage of Christ.

Method of Decoding Names Bible Code
1. Sometimes a word in Hebrew has a double meaning that is lost in the English. On a few occasions both meanings are used to bring out the full sense. This is especially true if the bible itself applies the meaning of a name in more than one way, therefore the same liberty has been taken in the code, (example, Perez). Our purpose is to decipher the names-code. It is not to burden it with a modern methodology that is foreign to both the bible and to ancient near-eastern culture. To do so would be a huge mistake. Our interpretation must remain within the boundary that the bible itself gives to names.
2. On a few occasions, (as with Uzziah/Azariah and Eliakim/Jehoiakim), the person had two or more (often similar) names. Their meanings have been rendered as a compilation of both.
3. Sometimes in the bible, one name has two meanings: the literal meaning and a meaning based upon another word that only sounds like the literal word. In other words, a pun. There are a few (not many) instances of this in the names-code, as with Kenan, Methuselah, Lamech, Arphaxad (both literal and as a pun), and perhaps Boaz.
4. On several occasions, a noun has been used as a verb, such as Serug, (meaning, “a branch”). Since it is in parallel with the verb before it, “to sprout”, the meaning of Serug likely carries this same sense also. Moreover, there is also a reference in the bible to the branch of the Lord “branching forth”, (Isa.11:1; Zech. 3:8; 6:12).
5. “And”, “but”, “of”, “the”, “is/are”, “in”, “to” etc., are included in the meaning as simple connector words, necessary in a bible code of this type, and not uncommon in normal Hebrew too.
6. Sometimes the names appear out of order to the English reader, but not in the Hebrew since the adjective usually follows the noun in Hebrew, and there are other such differences between Hebrew and English.
7. The context determines tense because tense can be blurred in Hebrew when dealing with prophecy, with the exception of Jeconiah. He had three names basically the same, two of which were exactly the same except for one being future and the other being past tense. Therefore, since the names themselves make this distinction, it is therefore reflected in the Names Bible Code.
8. Wherever the names bible code reads, “the Lord”, it actually reads, “Jehovah” (or “Jah” as shortened), or as more correctly pronounced, “Yahweh”. Jehovah is the personal name of God given to Israel by covenant at the time of the Exodus.
“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham,” “… the son of Adam, the son of God,” (Matthew 1:1; Luke3:23,38).
